It cancels the buff so it doesn't "count" as you fully receiving and benefitting off the buff.

By any chance do you have verbal dyslexia? I understand that you're speaking fast intentionally for a shorter video, but I have trouble comprehending the beginning of each phrase in your videos. It's almost like you're skipping vowels in a lot of words. I've often had to rewind twice to make sense of the words you've used. And I'm someone who can understand XQC just fine.

I don't. I do have a lot of filters on my mic so that's probably it. It's not meant to pick up low sounds so words do get cut off. I do tend to talk quiet when recording since I do have a baby next to me sleeping and he's a slight sleeper. And I did mention I also have to be quiet when I record late at night since people sleep early in my household. I don't want people to hear my keyboard as I play games so I have the mic filter at a high tolerance
