UX Portfolio Review 9: Enterprise UX Case Study

9th installment of UX portfolio reviews submitted by the viewers. This time I'll walk through a Bulgarian UX designer's portfolio that focused on Enterprise solutions. In particular, we will deep dive into one Enterprise UX case study for developer tools.

As long as it needs to be to tell the story well. Don't limit yourself or try to match someone's super long novel like cases - as long as you cover the fundamentals the rest should your decision to tell a good story with

Interesting video. Do you have any advices or ressources for designing complex systems like this ? I'm a beginner in UX and have to design quite a complex software for large scale businesses. Most UX ressources in books and online deal with retail products that are simple to understand, but for specific professional concerns it's harder to get inspiration. Thanks to your videos I'm learning axure because figma or xd are too weak to prototype such artifacts.

Yes, this is a tough one. There is not much coverage beyond the simple apps, websites etc. If I were you I'd look for enterprise ux as a keyword when searching for information. In reality you'd still need to apply same principles to simplify, but the complexity will be much greater. Experience mapping, cognitive mapping (all in the videos I previously covered) will be your best friends in understanding as-is and then designing the to-be.

Hey can you make video for ux beginner case study when you are doing everything for that case study i mean little bit in detail as i am self taught and struggling with case study.

Every project is very different so a case study as such wouldn't do you much help. The best way to learn is to see what UX portfolios out there look like (check the reviews I do on my channel), get the key structural bits notes and then apply it to your project material. You don't need a case study template - instead if you do UX project as it's meant by focusing on UX you'll have all the things you need to showcase already.

Hey ya :) compliments about the video I will rate it 7/10. AFTER some time the tone of your voice just became a bit boring... which made me lose interest to watch it to the end.
