So if I was showing a user a concept and asked about a certain feature ‘do you think this would be useful?’ …is that leading? And how would I ask that in a way that’s not leading 🤔

Hi Charlotte, yes that would be a leading question. A more neutral way is "What are your thoughts on this [feature]?" This language doesn't imply it could be useful. If the participant isn't too forthcoming, you can always probe further with a question like "Do you see this as useful or not that useful...?" but be careful not to tip your hand in favour of one answer. If the participant senses this, they'll tend to answer according to what they think you want to hear - which is not what we want. Hope this helps?
