I was playing a version of this earlier and while it's very fun, it can get rough when there's so much bench damage on ladder at the moment. Greninja and Regidrago copying Kyurems Trifrost hurt so badly, and you can't play manaphy to protect against it. I went on a 7 game lose streak when I got matched against those decks back to back to back, it was brutal.

Will play this over the next days! First impressions/questions: - Mimikyu seems like a strong fit for this deck; - Bench damage is indeed awful (Regidrago will be a pain); Manaphy feels a lot weaker without Munkidoris to recover them, especially considering the need to balance of the counters coming from the Froslass; - Would Beach Court or Lively Stadium be good alternatives to Artazon, now that most basics can be picked up by the Poffin? - Would the Flute be a good tech in here (for games where pokemon count is maintained low)?

@@cheexiongtan4717 so will Manaphy! you may not need Froslass at all in some circumstances, though (eg., Raging Bolt, Iron Thorns) and if needed you may time its knockout time to properly recover it, so still a good tech.

Manaphy and mimikyu are kind of interchangeable imo. Manaphy is searchable with irida so a pretty safe defense against sniping decks but most of the threats are gonna be dusknoir and put. You might see Greninja here and there. You can easily run one or the other, drop an iono or other tool and make both but you have to quickly assess if theyre gonna be useful, which is hard in a best of 1 format. Munkidori is nice but hard to get out alongside the rest of the mons you want and the energy. You'll likely end up losing azelf/uxie/froslass damage for munkidori. Munkidori does have the option to be a decent attack tho if things get rough. However, I think mimikyu is a safer option if you're gonna run munkidori. Mimikyu does auto win against a few decks out there tho so, it's worth considering.

Also lively stadium just makes your opponents Pokemon hard to to KO while making your Pokemon only slightly more durable. It only really buffs your manaphy/mimikyu/munkidori since the rest of your mons are just getting 1 shot in the active spot. The one big thing it does is protect your snorunts vs dragapult but tbh, you're probably gonna be in trouble vs dragapult anyways

​@@MageMinionsOP Manaphy can't stand long without HP recovery and that hurts -- you could reduce Froslass usage, but then why bother with them at all? So yeah, agree they are kinda interchangeable, but in the end maybe the biggest issue is if Uxie/Azelf can stand on their own without Froslass when Mimikyu or Manaphy are needed (or how quick can you Night Stretch them back), and if the 8 card "loss" is acceptable. also, agreed on Lively Stadium, but Artazon still feel suboptimal given how it helps Duskulls on the other side. To explain where I come from when wondering a Froslass/Munki/Uxie/Azelf/Manaphy/Mimikyu world, I play 4 Froslass/3 Munkidori and love it. Dragapults aside, I feel it can be more consistent as it currently runs suboptimal stuff (Radiant Alakazam, Minior, Yveltal). Uxie/Azelf feel a natural opportunity, but besides the Mimikyu/Manaphy discussion I'm also not yet bought on dual-energy (especially when you run so little of them) and have no proper drawing engine.

Have you considered using starmie instead of frosslass? Can ping anything and doesnt hit your manaphy, while also freeing up bench space for other support pokemon potentially, the downside is that its less turbo against ability decks

I've tried it but I don't think it's worth it. It takes damage every turn from Froslass, so you would have to play something like Penny to prevent it from giving your opponent a free prize card.

I wouldn't say it makes sense given the Frosslass impact without any recovering power (eg., Munkidori); and also given that there's now Azelf for a stronger attack when compared to Froslass/Munki/Yveltal.

I just made a similar deck, no frosslass tho, i put in a togekiss xD already a meme deck it feels like but I've been beating charizard and raging bolts and every time it's so funny xD i just don't have a froslass I'm pretty sure or I'd try that but it does seem to still work pretty good with just uxie for spread haha i put a deluxe bomb on my uxie and their scared to hit it lmao gives u some extra turns or really hurts whoever they decide to knock u out with to then just one shot with azelf anyway lmao it's nasty
