I have just returned from Uzbekistan and yes, I totally second the ridiculous heat. And one thing I have to admit is that Uzbek wines are not really desirable, at least the ones I had. But the food is amazing and plentiful. When my girlfriend revealed that she is vegetarian one of our hosts almost fainted in disbelief, priceless
