I think weight helps you in this case . You obviously have plenty of power. Not a speed run guy. But the longer one went faster because its heavier and probably tracked better. At those speeds take weight off and it wont stick to the ground lol 🛫👊

@@rcsmith5909 I was talking about the gps on the wing of the shorter one no being as aerodynamic, the gps doesn't even weigh an ounce. I have 4 speed run 124019s, 3- have twin motors🤟

Awesome upgrades. The electronics seem to fit into the chassis perfectly. I like how you strap everything in and tape the body to the chassis. Great idea.. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Yes, because the new ESC will not fit if the body shell is fixed normally

Nice. Looks weird. The smaller with same motor and electronic should be a little faster cause it's slightly lighter. On the other hand, long wheelbase cars have more stability on the straight line. By the way, they both seemed same stable. Probably better aero and long wheelbase are the factors that make 124019 a bit faster. Maybe flipping the body shell to the 144001 is not so good cause it makes drags. it takes more air from the front and it's restricted to the back creating a sort of obstruction to the air flow.

Yes, I also expected the smaller one to be faster ... but as you said, better aero and longer wheelbase helped the 124019 to go faster.

The TRUCK version has a very nice bumper, but you wont need it for a Speedrun setup ... just try to avoid crashing 👍

Reverse the shell of 144001 and it may probably hit 135km/hr as well?

Most probably, but it was not possible to do that in this case because of the ESC location/position

They didnt mention in the specs but it was able to hit more than 66k RPM in my test with 2s lipo

Fast is fun yes but touch a curb and your little toy is now junk. I know first hand. The front end suspension breaks too easy. And if you flip it over you smash the front diff off. So much fun. Not. Not crazy about wl any more.

Any rc car can be fun for somebody but surely not for everybody ... it also depends on the driving style
