Дякуємо Вам пані Віоліно, що вертаєте з забуття наших геніїв музичних, про яких ми нічого не знаємо. Дякуємо за Василя Барвінського і за Ваш диск Василя Барвінського.

Dear Violina, how good you are. Especially the end of this pianoconcert is fascinating. Barwinsky is a new revelation to me...

This is very, very spectacular!!! Is this the world premier of the piece? I completely adore your playing and am so happy to have discovered you as an artist! As well as this piece of music! I wonder if there is any way to purchase the sheet music for it? I cannot seem to find it available for purchase anywhere, but would love to learn it as a celebration of Ukrainian culture and in solidarity with Ukraine at this deeply troubling time.

How very lovely and moving. When was it written?

The concert, written during 1917-1937, was committed to the flames after Barvinsky's banishment. Lost for decades a copy was finally rediscovered in Buenos-Aires in 1993.

Wonderful piece of music! I came here from Orchestration Online Challenge, and I am discovering a really good composer and a an excellent performer. Barvinsky is not innovative by any stretch, but I think it's far more difficult to write moving, interesting music than write something innovative. ...although THAT F key is painful to listen... What happened, no time to tune the piano?
