To me, the core of the story was how bad our O-line was and how solid our defense was. Given how overwhelmed the O-line looked, it was kind of amazing we could survive that many interceptions. Jonathan Kim also had a nice game kicking in the rain.

Easily the most interesting Spartan team in a decade. A little will go a long way with Aiden. It’s weird to say he has the most progress to make because he’s the only player with that capacity to make that much progress. GO GREEN. I think this team will stun anyone sleeping.

Great analysis gents. Very tough loss given all the poor decision mistakes. While disappointing - really are hoping we see improvement in all phases of the team by end of year. This O-Line is concerning providing poor blocking on consistent basis which makes it hard for running game and time for Chiles - teams will key in on this in future which could mean defense is on field way too long. Team still has high ceiling if they can get it all working together! Go Green!

I was at the game. The overthrow TD pass to Foster was bad. The overthrow INT to end the game in front of the BC student section is a sign that Chiles will make bad mistakes, even with seasoning. If OSU gets an interception on an overthrow, why not put in the seasoned, gritty backup? The OL and KLA on State’s last score showed up big time. Look at Pittsburgh and how they use Justin Fields in the red zone with the option play. That should have been utilized more. And running the ball out of the end zone to start the second half makes me think it was a coaching error. Got to take the touchback.

I really hated the final interception, he got some pressure, but there was still time and time outs, and when hes ptessured he just goes for it all. We dont hxve the recieving corps to make alot of these types of 50/50 balls, it would have been exciting to see chiles throw to jayden reed, or keon colman or nailor. Dude needs to learn to scramble, check down, throw it away or take the sack not just heave it under pressure. Still were on schedule for my prediction 7-5, 3 wins in sept. 1 upset in oct. And 3 wins in nov.

I said before this game if we didnt lose the turnover battle and can reduce he penalties we would win this game easily and almost won despite the turnovers. Reduced the penalties finally though, i think we only had like 25 yd ik penalties and one was that "late hit" that started 2 yds in bounds and just carried out of bounds

Chiles has all the talent in the world. Main concern is accuracy is sometjing you usually have or you don't. So far, he hasn't demonstrated consistent accuracy.. which is a bit worrisome.

Fewer passes? When a QB is forced to carry the team because the run isn't working, he has to make more throws and force it more. And take more chances. Look at UM, Orji barely threw. He didn't have to.

As an aside: 1) George Blaha needs to retire. He's just not able to cover games now. The last play he said "and it was almost picked off" to which Strayhorn replied, "no George it was picked off". Loved him during the great Pistons era and all he's done for MSU. But it's sad listening now. 2) ACC Network is hands down better game coverage than the BTN. BTN is miserable, it's like watching a locally produced high school game.

Change the quarterback when the interceptions start. It’s too much pressure on him. He is still learning but you’re hurting the Team so he can learn. He has to learn to be a Team player too. He is young and has to learn when to get out when things are not going right. His talent is there but he’s wants to be a leader. He has to learn to be a good leader you have learn when to step down to someone else.
