V Finale 400 - WORLD RECORD FEMKE BOL - 49.24 !!

En opnieuw flikt ze het; Femke Bol wordt Nederlands Kampioene en verbetert haar eigen Wereldrecord van een jaar geleden tot een tijd van 49.24. Hoe ontzettend knap! Dat geldt ook voor het resultaat van de zilveren medaille winnares Lieke Klaver. Zij noteert ook een razendsnelle 50.10. Een nieuw pb en de 2e tijd dit indoorseizoen wereldwijd! De bronzen medaille winnares Cathelijn Peeters doet het ook weer uitstekend met een tijd van 52.08. Een indrukwekkend podium!

I'm way out in California. We have a wealth of runners here (40,000,000 population). The weather is perfect for year- round training. I've seen six high school boys go sub 4 in the mile. Trust me Femke, we ARE watching and learning!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dank voor de reactie/compliment. Helaas net buiten beeld gebeurd rondom het punt van invoegen ter hoogte van aanvang ronde 2. Cathelijn Peeters, Eveline Saalberg en Myrthe van der Schoot strijden om positie 3. Myrthe raakt daarbij dusdanig uit balans dat ze de strijd staakt en dus niet finisht. Jammer.
