Love your reactions. Please don’t deprive us of your reaction to Tae on IU Palette. It’s the best interview and their interaction is amazing, not to mention the duet. I think ‘For Us’ is also a song to us, it’s like a goodbye before he goes to the military. Like it’s the final song in the album, the MV is an epilogue reminiscing about the past. And you’re right about the instruments. He wanted to do full on jazz but knew it wouldn’t be as popular so he made the album a little ‘public friendly’ and it allows him to change up the live versions. In slow dancing we had the flute version, the piano version, the guitar version and now the saxophone version. That’s why people who called it boring don’t get this masterpiece, it’s all about the room to change up in live performances and also why it makes the songs timeless classics.

In regards to Yeontan my thoughts are that the Layover album concept and the MVs are Tae's way to immortalize him. He knows that Yeontan won't be with him forever, especially since he is a very sick little puppy but this way, he has made more beautiful memories with him that he shared with us and that he can always look back onto. I don't know if I'm making any sense. ❤

Sorry I had to cut short of watching this. I love V's music because he's undeniably superb and talented that I couldn't help scouring/watching Tiny Desk Korea always just to see him sing over & over again the whole day. Please don't take it personally but I hope you can minimize facial expression/touching on&off button each time you comment becoz it's distracting that it's hard to appreciate the song completely/properly.
