just found you tonight and subscribed. Really enjoy your vids. Growing up in NFLD i spent practically all my free time in the woods camping out and having "cook ups/boil ups" as we call them there. I can relate with your love of the outdoors. I can't think of a better place to have breakfast than in the bush. you commented that your vids are probably too long, i disagree, it's like a serious...40 minutes to an hour and packed with realism and content i can relate with. Look forward to many more vids from you and catching up on all of your previous vids !

These old videos are great to re-run. I currently live in a very wet and swampy area in far Northern California. Your ability to thrive in the swamplands is very inspiring. I'm sure you read this all the time but you're a great guy. Take care man.

I was thinking of using plastic or wood to make your "shelf" to put under a tree in my yard. Some friends recently trimmed off half of the limbs (looked like a giant Christmas tree), so now you can walk underneath. I figured instead of a table, I'd put some chairs and a device like yours to hold a few garden tools or drinks. I didn't want to damage the tree or worry about the lawn mover destroying stuff or things rusting from being on the ground. Your idea seemed like a good idea to make the tree a sort of "hang out" area with natural shade.
@Reallybigmonkey1

Sounds good to me! Just because I backpack with this stuff that doesnt mean it aint a good idea for home. I bet that would make a cool place to hang out and have a place to set drinks on.

Thanks man! If I may say myself, I believe this is one of my favorite designs yet. It packs down pretty small, is easy to set up and cooks with very little wood. And of course, it has a table. Im glad that you and so many others like the length. I have always thought" Im gonna just make a short one" and guess what? It never happens, LOL. Yep, I guess its just the way I am and cant change. Im glad you never get bored. I always said if I ever get boring, Im retiring from this.

survival 101 Grits are dried crushed corn. They stay dry and last for months until you add hot water or boil them in water then they turn into a fine oatmeal looking texture. They have a great flavor but you can add salt, butter or even bacon bits or beef jerky. Get some and try em. www.walmart.com/ip/Jim-Dandy-Enriched-Quick-Grits-32-oz/10294634

Thanks! I believe this one is my favorite too. For a grill and table to pack down so small, set up so easy, cook with very little wood, then its bound to stay one of my favorites. This would be a really cool design for a bird feeder. It would last years longer than wood. Im not sure whats weird with the chair other than it looks like a mini hammock. It really needed to be tied off to two stiffer trees. Thanks for watching my friend.

LOL, V-Stove envy, I like that! Very very cool that you got a sewing machine. You'll be able to make all kinds of cool stuff. Im glad you liked it. Thats a cool idea of having a backrest. I had a similar one piece idea once that was made out of ripstop nylon and 8 pieces of paracord.
