I use linear colormapping with default multipliers, save multilayer exr for the best comping. work in 32 bit in nuke or aftereffects. the exposure controls in 32 bit workflow is awesome but requiers alot of data storage. I have experimented with main brute force , second brute force with fairly great results. but mostly using brute lightcache combo

what setting do you use for color mapping the exterior scene, currently doing the exterior scene but it's too bright(reinhard), and the render is really slow so I cant experiment a lot? also I ma using brute force because I have lots of details in the scene. what do you recommend?

Hello, thank you for the video. There's just something I want to ask regarding the Noise Threshold value. I adjust that to reduce or eliminate the noise and grains that you can see when viewing the image's VrayReflection in the Frame Buffer but at the cost of slower render time... Is there another way to reduce the noise in the reflection? I used to get smoother images when I adjust the Reflection Subdivs of a VrayMatl, but that's gone in V-Ray 5...

Full Light Select render elements are not supported by the IR and they are the foundation of Light Mix. Just forget about IR, it was good 15 years ago but now there is no need to use it.

@@victoriapetsagkouraki2370 The best way is to do a test, but the samples are now controlled only by Image sampling and buckets min max and noise, that's it. Use Brut force and Light Ch.

Now a days, Vray is just lights, camera, render! Without tweaking much you can achieve great lighting render using Vray GPU RT because GPU hardware such as nvidia RTX are much available.

I know this is out of topic, but can you help me? I have both Corona and Vray in my 3ds max but when I imported a 3d model that uses vray materials and rendered it on corona, it gives me an error with red glowing unsupported all over the 3d model.

you need to convert them to Corona materials. Use the built in Corona converter

@@BOPISbewitya Converting the scene literally takes seconds. Tweaking materials that haven't quite converted properly can take a bit of time though. You must have an older version of Corona because from 2018 (Corona 2) onwards it has support for Vray materials ,which is why people with more current versions of Corona can just render those materials
