Great stuff, I have some questions about the clutch for the BMW gearbox, which I would like to adress to you. How do you adapt the clutch to the bmw gearbox shaft? Are you using bmw clutch plates in a benz clutch???

In Germany we get instantly caught by the police if the car blows out some black smoke. Do you have some idea to get power out of the 605 or 606 with less smoke? Maybe with a edc pump?

Just reduce the amount of diesel to match the boost you are making, easy thing to do with dieselmeken double alda system. Check my latest burnout videos here on my channel, very small amount of smoke coming out.

Good job, I have a similar project ongoing using an OM606 engine and a BMW Zf 6 speed manual gearbox. My challenge however is after cutting the BMW at 110mm and Mercedes sprinter at 75mm the Mercedes donor bellhousing seems too big to attach for welding on the BMW gearbox. Is this normal or did I chose the wrong Mercedes donor gearbox/bellhousing.

I am currently building a w201 with a turbo m104 and 722.6 automatic transmission, and I'm now trying to find out what will work for a driveline. I'm aiming for about 700hp, so I think the torque should correspond with your turbodiesel engine. I want to try to use the original spindles and wheel bearings from the w201, and then combine them with the s210 wagon hubs and CV joints. Maybe mill 7mm off the back of the hubs so they will fit in the original spindles and bearings from w201, and add a 7mm spacer behind the central nut, will this work? I Know Teemu from black smoke sells billet w201 shafts for 250 euro a pair and ships them worldwide, so I'm thinking of using those ones. The diff is also something I'm trying to work out, i'm not sure if the w201/w124 185mm ASD diff will handle the power. I see you are using the 185mm diff in the turbodiesel w201 with a manual transmission, so I reckon it will be fine with a gas engine that has about the same torque and automatic transmisson. Otherwise make the w124 210mm diff fit the W201 subframe. Will the inner CV joint from the s210 wagon fit the 185mm or 210mm diff with 110mm flanges? Because I can then pull the hubs and the complete driveshafts from a s210 wagon from the wrecker and use it together with the black smoke axles. Hope you can give me some confirmation and/or advise as i'm trying to solve the puzzle...

you need to find an alloy wheel that fits your diameter. They are made from the same metal. You need to cut out the central part, the area of ​​the ET line, there is a smooth transition from one diameter to another.

The only bolt on ones is from w201 with ASD original. There are the ones with 110mm cv joints and mostly the 100mm ones.

thank you for this video! im doin this to my m103 turbo at the moment myself i have wonder how mutch to cut the bellhousing, im runnin a e46 transmission too, a 320d . how mutch did u cut the e46 housing?:D i got that u usaly cut 105mm but you mention something bout some difference from the 5 series box to the e46 box @blomppo

I think i took about 110mm from the e46 gearbox, but you should measure that yourself so you dont take too much or little.

Correct! Stock mercedes has 24mm out stick from the housing surface, so just measure the bmw box and use a 75mm piece from the mercedes box, and make it work :)

No, you have to get a fully mechanic one.

You find them usually in the w124 and w201 chassies, from the om602 engine. And also from the w124 with 605 N/A engine. Contact Dieselmeken, they have pumps in stock also.

Paljonko tuommonen e46 2.0d laatikko kestää voimaa? Ja mistä tuo kardaani peräisin?. Eikö bmw laatikoissa ole 4 pultilla kardaani kiini.

Tuo GS5-39DZ on kyllä vahvin 5v bemarin laatikko. Kestää hyvin potkia tehokkaammallaki vehkeellä, tehonumeroita on vaikea sanoa mutta liki tonnin jos ei ihan sikaa anna. Kato seuraavat episodit niin selviää.
