It's called a tear stick... its a cotton bud with something on it that makes you tear up... usually with menthol or camphor...

Just want to know if you've seen the dance practice video with V and LeeJung Lee. If you haven't - then you've gotta check it out - it'll blow your mind! I'd love to see your reaction to it.

Romance/Horror genre had me cracking up. It definitely took a turn. Bookish Theories has a theory that blew my mind and makes sense. She states that the dark V at the end is the artist and both the bright V and the girl are statues that have come to life (both have the mark on their neck). I'm not sure what the black running down dark V's face represents. I kept imagining Rudy Giuliani..ugh. It's a cinematic masterpiece with so many layers and so many possible ways to interpret the story. BTS always keep us engaged and discussing their works...it's genius really. RIP Yeontan 😭💜

My father is a lefty who was made to be right handed. In sports he still played as a lefty. I’m left handed. My brother is right handed but plays sports left handed. We’re odd balls. You’ll notice V is ambidextrous throughout dance practices and choreography.

Watch bookish theories. She breaks it down beautifully. She has been doing breakdowns of BTS videos for a long time.

I understand where you are coming from in your theories, but Tae/V doesn't think like that. He believes there are always two in one; two sides in a person. One has to reach acceptance with oneself in order to have tranquility. The mansion is indeed a prison because all the statues that come to life are grounded, including the red V. The real sculptor is the black V, who can travel outside by car to the city and the theatre. The sculptor is all alone by choice (doing everything and going everywhere by himself), and he returns to the mansion to put an end to the chaos.

the story behind the mv is more of a fantasy. he makes a sculpture of a woman in his loneliness, and it comes to life. and he experiences life with her. at the end, he finds out his existence is not real either that infact he is a sculpture which came to life too. the sculpture he ruined was his own, and the reason was probably denial.

in the mv, it was also implied that the people in white were statues he made too. the reality starts to shatter at the dancing scene because no one is real. it is about loneliness.
