The fact... SHE was HIM 😭 the sculpture was him!!! KIM TAEHYUNG'S MUSIC isn't just simply music, it's a whole fxcking novel! crying with tears in his eyes is art and he did it effortlessly!! The same mark on taehyung , woman & the sculpture showcasing how he conjured up everything ,The dark persona reminiscent of this fact And what stood out to me most was how perfectly Taehyung emoted the moment of realisation . Just brilliant !! the moment when realization hits taehyung. none of it was real. a fantasy inside a fantasy, dreamt up by a solitary artist who confronts himself at the end. and as he cries, he also smiles. because even if false, his dreams were still so very beautiful. and he was so happy. the version in front of him bleeds from a cracked head and we see glimpses of cracked sculpture heads in his workshop. this too is him then. both are him. none more real than the other. the cynic and the romantic. the darkness and the light... just wow V 👌

This is a masterpiece and Taehyung has created a unique art, everything is so perfect, his voice, his feelings, his appearance... How can a person be this perfect!! as taehyung blew out the candles, he was transported to reality and the scene shifted from the warm banquet hall to the cold wilderness. and yet after a moment of confusion, he accepts the change and continues dancing. until.. he cant. the denial becomes too hard to maintain...this is such a fascinating sequence and such a stellar work of filmmaking and editing!

V the sculptor created an image of himself, V the statue or the sculpture. V sculptor must be projecting his own desires to live be with someone in his V statue. Or he could be a loner, seeking to live/happiness but doesn’t know how. This desire breathed life to his creation. Thus, when the V statue came to life, he also desired to be with someone and created a female statue and breathed life to her. The V sculpture lived the life, ie, going around, feeling the wind, being awed by other lives (like the butterfly), dancing, partying, celebrating, loving a girl. But that will end as he faced his creator later and realized he was not real, thus the heartbreaking sadness and acceptance in V’s eyes in the last scene. This is when you see the girl disappearing and even his face in the mirror partly turning into stone. The sculptor V is bloodied. This may represent his own brokenness, or relate to the scene where he was angry and frustrated and took such anger on his scuplture of V thus scraping that part of his face under his eye, and breaking him. It can also be theorized that when sculptor V broke the V statue, this instead gave life to the statue while the sculptor sustained the brokenness or injuries, sort of opposite effect. Or these could all just be a part of the sculptor’s dreams. Teaser 1 represents the darkness in his life. Teaser 2 is his daydream of a happier life, although it will end like any other dream, and he will go back to reality. Also the dark jacket and heavy footsteps may represent the darkness in the sculptor’s life, while the red jacket and whitish colors may symbolize life and lightness. For me there are both biblical and mythological elements in the storyline.

The dominant Tae is Black Jacket, we can say it's his aura or his social appearance as an idol or his face toward the society! Park Hyo Shin is one of the best, or perhaps the best ballad singer in S.Korea. He debuted in 1999 and was highly praised for his husky style voice and hitting high notes with such a low tone voice. I highly recommend listening to his song “Wild Flower”. It is a song that tells a story about his painful and difficult past but overcoming them and bloom again. Or Is he 'ARMY'? -the whole thing being an allegory...We have made him an idol, seen him in all sorts of situations: on stage, partying, going on walks, watching him sleep (lots of clips of him sleeping!), etc; and they have also has seen him low, depressed, crying, injured. Fans have imagined what it might be like to be with him in all these situations, and how it would be to do those with him......but for fans, those imaginings cannot be a real existence......He is a real person, and although he loves the fans, it is a 'fake/created/idealised love', in a way, because he can't have a personal relationship with all these people. Even if he wanted to break away from the fans at times, he couldn't bring himself to do that because of his idol-love for them and his feelings of wanting to help/heal/entertain them, and the fans would keep coming back for more! He is 'resigned' (in a good way, we hope) to continue his -sometimes lonely life, for the fans. The mansion representing everything that is entailed in his work life - he can't really leave it behind completely. (I know this is way out there, but I wanted to cast in another set of notions!).

The video begins with the V in white waking up and feeling alone because of that he made the girl and other statues, who have the mark behind their ear. While he's alone everything looks gray but once the girl and the rest appear he's all happy and everything is colorful. Finally the real sculptor appears, all the statues disappear and the V statue realizes that he's a statue too and that's why he touches himself behind his ear realizing that he also has the mark. In the car scene, the V statue is in front and the V dressed in black is sitting behind, I guess something happened there because the statue wakes up without remembering anything and the real V appears injured at the end. And that's my theory. I still don´t know what's happening in the teather (maybe the sculptor is using the statue as entertainment???)
