Ingredients
Roasted Rice flour -1cup
Boiled Water -11/4 cup
Salt-
Coconut -9tbsp
Cardamom Powder -1/4tsp
Salt-
Jaggery -2 or Sugar
Water -1/4cup
Banana leaf
Method
Take 1 glass of roasted rice flour in a bowl. Add 1 ¼ glass of steaming hot water. Add according to your rice flour. Add salt to the water before mixing. Knead it to a soft dough. Close it for 10-15 mins. The dough would have cooked. Knead the dough well.
Take a kadai Add jaggery syrup and allow it to bubble up. Add the grated coconut crushed caramom powder, cumin powder (optional).Add a pinch of salt.Adjust the sweetness according to your taste.
Take a banana leaf. Take a ball of dough and spread it on the banana leaf. Wet your hands in between while you are spreading. Excess dough you can scrape off (watch at 7:18). Add the filling in the center. Fold both the sides. Then steam the ada. Steam for 10 minutes. Cook on high flame. Open the banana leaf when it cools down and remove the ada from the leaf.
