Thank you for all the inspiring video. Your adventures have encouraged us (my husband and myself) to not shrink back. We finally got our Ursa Minor top for our Jeep and are testing out our gear on some short trips in and around VA and NC. We are excited to be presently experiencing the National Park at Oregon Inlet NC, which is part of the outer-banks in our Jeep. We have driven on the beach many times but camping in the midst of the dunes gives a fresh perspective on the beauty of the nature that surrounds us. Thanks again for always sharing your experiences honestly both the beauty of our world through your videos as well as your “oops” while driving on new trails. Sharing through your channel helps to encourage people to get up and out trying new things even as beginners. Keep on sharing and teaching ...

Thanks for the Video Chris! You have inspired me to finally pick up a Rubicon and start exploring the world. These first two weeks of October ended up being my first Overland trip and I ended up hitting SEVEN National Forests along the way and ended up with a Lodging bill of $0. Colorado was definitely some of the roughest trails I encountered as well. Anyway, thanks for the inspiration and as Rick Steves would say, keep on traveling!

I really like how you started this video.....showing the rawness of have a Jeep and going places....also that your jeep is mostly stock.....is also really awesome. We can’t be trail recon if you know what I’m saying. I really think the best video you have ever made was you getting stuck on the mountain and making the best out of it.......and coming to the understanding that every trip doesn’t always end with what we think it should aka views or hidden gems. Anyway love the videos and hey get stuck and show the truth of adventures.

The amount of work that went into making this film, and all your other films is astonishing. Absolutely impressive. You also definitely nailed some of the locations - either by happenstance or planning. Especially in the SW. I spent the earlier part of this year traversing the SW as well, off grid, camping and traveling without much contact to the world. And at no point would I have been able to put in the amount of work you did. Kudos all around.

When you were stuck at 43:04, if you had to get extracted how would anyone be able to get in there to help with the right equipment? Thank you.
@jacksak4 жыл бұрын
@TX4wheelin Yes, I understand, but when he mentioned extraction I wondered how any equipment that could help would ever get in there. I guess just manpower and a few manual cable pullers if he really would need extraction. (???)
@corydriver76344 жыл бұрын
@@jacksak he was being melodramatic. In a situation like this with no medical emergency, if he’d have called for help they would have accessed the situation and told him to wait until the weather improved and drive out. If there had been an emergency they probably would have gotten him out with a helicopter. “Extraction”, phsst, like he was in a combat zone...whatever.
@jacksak4 жыл бұрын
@@corydriver7634 I agree with the melodramatic and helicopter if needed, but was thinking of "extracting" the Jeep where another rescue vehicle would get stuck or couldn't reach there. Just wondering what happens to vehicles that get in too far, trapped.
@corydriver76344 жыл бұрын
@@jacksak if it were a situation were his Jeep was disabled they’d have waited until the weather cleared then towed it out with another off-road vehicle. There are companies that specialize in off road recovery. Checkout YT channel Matt’s Off Road Recovery for and example.
