If you watched a few minutes more of Bugatti’s presentation, you would see that they wrote on the screen that 0-400 km/h takes “less than 25 seconds”. Which probably means that it will take more than 20 seconds. So it’s not going to be this quick.

In the same amount of time the Rimac would have travelled the greater distance taking more time to accelerate at high speeds instead of more time to accelerate at low speeds.

May not be fully confirmed but I am still sure that the acceleration will be somewhat correct. What I am next interested in is the air drag since this is a dyno test we don't get to see the acceleration of how fast it is on the real road. Is the aerodynamics good enough to reach 500 km/h maybe?

Possibly, but they said they are still doing final tweaks to the car. I dont think they have released any info on the aero

Yup genuine, that’s why Bugatti did it one way with a pre production prototype car. Unlike koenigsegg who actually does it 2 way with a production car. Even this new car is done on cgi. Come back when Bugatti does a genuine record. How come they never did the top speed record with the Chiron super sport? A limiter is not a problem for speed records yet they never did I it. Or is it that the as isn’t capable of doing 300 mph in production spec? What’s their excuse now?

To settle the debate once and for all, here is the actual top speeds of these cars. Koenigsegg Jesko - 498.99 km/h (310 mph) Bugatti Veyron - 431.072 km/h (267.856 mph) Bugatti Chiron - 420 km/h (261 mph) Rimac Nevera - 412 km/h (256 mph) So the Koenigsegg Jesko stands 1st place, Bugatti Veyron 2nd, Bugatti Chiron 3rd, Rimac Nevera 4th. Correct me if i'm mistaken.

How do you now? Maybe in reality is more faster. McLaren f1 in 1993 the factory claimed aprox 371 kmh top speed, but when they tested in real conditions the real speed was 387kmh. The speed and acceleration depend very much from air temperature, altitude, track surface.
