I visited Newton this week at Sonepat. Their infrastructure seemed quite good as everything is new as its a new university. They are running their first batch from last year and which is supposed to graduate in mid 2027. These new age colleges have changed the pattern of education and brought in curriculum thats more in line with the industry requirements. This helps companies to save on their training costs and can be hence productive very quickly. Mentors from eminent organisations are also expected to visit the campus at Sonepat (Rishihood University). However do not think that IITs are not getting placed because they are lacking skills. That's wrong selling. Industries inside and outside India have a lot of honour bestowed on IIT Engineers. It's all due to recent business scenarios and market conditions that placement has taken a hit. However aspirants should always work hard for extra gold coins... is the mantra.
