I have all the clean RF glass. I have a C400 on order. A set of these to shoot a different style would be sweet! Very cool that you guys do this.

It has a great bokeh and color. Can this lens switch to the modern video of the conventional CNE? Or can it only be used with this rangefinder look?

Great stuff guys. The flares look really lively and fun, especially the 14mm. But is there something going on with the 85mm? It looks like it took a big hit to resolution wide open, compared to standard CN-E 85mm lenses.

@@nick_salazar oh it very much did. That and the 50. Much like the rangefinders. They are pretty soft wide open. Comes back fast though.

Beautiful video! Was wondering if these could be bought?
@NorthwestCameraCo5 ай бұрын
@@Doughnutmanmanman they can. We start with new or used CNE lenses. You can send them to us or we can source for the modification.

Just to be sure, the initial footage at the beginning of the video is not from the V35 project lenses, those are the actual rangefinder lenses?
@NorthwestCameraCo5 ай бұрын
@@CaseyPreston the footage at the beginning is from our v35 project tuned CN-E rangefinder recipe.

@@NorthwestCameraCo Wow. Now you've got my attention. I quite like this. Time to find some used Canon CN-E's.

@@CaseyPreston we rather love them ourselves. I know like 5 people with CNE sets if you want me to hook you up. Just reach out.

@@NorthwestCameraCo do these actually have a tendency to flare more than the legacy K35, or is it just that the halation is more suppressed so that you can see the flares more clearly? It is hard to get a direct comparison from the test video from the legacy K35. Any chance of getting a tuning with the halation from the legacy K35 mixed with the field curvature and astigmatism of the Rangefinders?
