Great short lesson! Your teaching is very clear. I am new to this so there is so much I'm unfamiliar with and so bear with me. Now, in the case of flow diverted erroneously due to fills; is there not a way to rectify that and force the flow along the right path? Do you have another lesson that shows the delineation of the watershed boundaries? It seems like that would be just another short step from where you ended here. Thanks again!

Very great explanation! just wondering if the LiDAR data is ground classified. This looks like a DSM and not DEM that is why it gets the road footprint? Really not sure about this. But it was a cool explanation though!

Great video and explanation. I have one question -- is there a method/algorithm to deal with cuvlerts, bridges, etc? Thanks.

Hey man, first of all thanks for the great tutorials. I am really glad I stumbled over your channel, it has been of great help so far. I still have a problem though and wonder if you could help me. I'm trying to extract river profiles from high resolution LIDAR-data (1 meter) to apply the stream-length gradient index (Hack, 1973) and although I found a lot of literature, I haven't been able to find an actual tutorial for the GIS manipulation. The idea behind the index is that it serves as a proxy for tectonic activity i.e. as an indicator for faults. Is there any chance that you have heard about it or even already had to use it? I don't wanna steal your time but if something immediately comes to mind an answer would be highly appreciated. Best regards and thx again for the hours of work you already spared me René

Why did you choose 10,000?

That's based on error and try, to delineate the stream feature if you pick lower Acc value there will lot of unnecessary first order streams, so they generally chose from 5000-10000 or higher. you can choose any range.
