Absolutely love how there's no music in these videos, just the sound of the jeep and the outdoors. Thanks for being different.

I can believe this! I’ve started binge watching you a couple of weeks ago and you just went 10 mile north of me when you crossed into Louisiana! Don’t stop your adventures and follow the hood of your Jeep! Cheers!!

I started watching your most recent adventures a couple months ago while researching places to camp in Colorado and Utah. At the time my wife and I lived in Wisconsin for a short time but soon found ourselves longing to get back to the mountains. Your channel has inspired us to do just that, not only for recreation and exploration but a place to call home. We now call Colorado our home and love exploring this amazing place any chance we get. Since the move we've continued to watch your adventures all across this beautiful country. Thank you for sharing your incredible journey, your humble nature, and positive messages you share. We look forward to what the future brings your way. Maybe one day our paths will cross and we can share a pizza together. Safe travels to you!

I enjoy all your travels, but this week was special for me. I was born, raised, and lived my first sixty years in Mississippi and spent the last ten in North East Georgia. Over the years I spent a good deal of time traveling in Louisiana and Alabama. Each of your stops brought back wonderful memories good friends and good food. I’m still taking my 2 door soft top JK exploring, but now I like to try and get back to a real bed at night. Safe travels and glade to hear you finally getting a winch and air.

Chris , Thanks for making my world better . Love the show . Been power watching for a month , seen them all . Tonight it all came together as you camped North of Rome . I have stayed in that very site . Could not fathom what I was viewing . This very big world can be very small as well . If you ever wish to visit The Rickett's Glen State park area which is about 2 hours north of Lancaster , hit me up as I own Redrock Campground and would welcome you with open arms . Thanks again for everything you do and don't do .

I look forward to the Eastern US as I have never been there.

Not anymore unfortunately, they discontinued the powerplant models. I have a 12K one, one of the best purchases I have, also with his bumper it would ride to high, almost to the hood. Mine rides between the frame rails and it still rises up to half way up the grill

It's 0250 Saturday morning, I have a break in reading reports, and it's time for my weekly Venture 4wd fix. You are doing what I want to do when I retire in a few more years. Since you travel alone and in all different kinds of terrain, in addition to a winch, I would recommend a land anchor, like a Pull Pall. A winch won't do you any good if you don't have an anchor point!

Hi Chris Another nice video, some of the states you have been thru really are beautiful. Being able to travel slow must be nice. I saw the great seal of Illinois on the floor of that one monument. What was up with that? Thanks for taking the time to make these videos of your travels. Russ
@michaelmathis19615 жыл бұрын
Those monuments Russ Sherratt, were built to remember the men who sacrificed their time and lives fighting for a cause they believed in. Each state has a memorial to honor those men. They usually have written inside them facts about the regiments and the members from that state. It is a somber place to visit as you visualize what the soldiers went through daily, in one of the Civil War's great battles.

Finally getting a winch. I was wondering how you dared going alone without one. I have a manual winch - like 60ies recovery gear, but i'm in the process of installing a new front bumper with a winch. A air compressor always was a must have for me - nothing fancy or quick, just a reliable little portable air compressor that can get me pumped up (in half an hour or so - would love more power but no reason to spend that extra money and space for the occasional time savings)
