I am sure there are many things, like rear shocks, carpeted dash pad, a real 3" exhaust cut out valve, are the first three things that popped into my head. I should be able to come up with more items if I look at my list and search the site... However, you don't have to do this. If you really want to, let me know, but you don't have too. Love the offer and that you are watching.

Hey man. Found ur channel last night. I started watching channels like ur channel a while back to learn about rebuilding engines, old classic cars, etc and what it all takes and I have learned so much I never knew about. It's really inspirational to see these trucks and cars being brought back to life after years of laying up in a filed or ditch or in a scrapyard. Really like one of these trucks but here in Ireland we don't see any of these types of motors. U made a fine job of this one. I think once u get a decent paint job on this Blue/Green truck it will finish it off beautifully bro.. Anyways I wanna finish by saying Salute to u all there from Dublin, IRE.. Keep up the great content..

@@chud327 when people talk crap on somebody's welds, they're just repeating stuff that they overheard, they need to shut their mouth and go bag groceries, stop living a lie. It's such a bummer man. That's how I know certain things, if they act like that and they're not reverent to the trade, I know they ain't got the stroke. I told my students straight up, "put a hand on it and get it unfucked, or get out of the other guy's way, at least he's going after it". They straighten up real quick. Anybody who is quick to criticize, if he ain't God's gift to metal fab (which he ain't), ought to be shunned and excluded.

Solution to traction bar problem: Install an adjustable pinion snubber. It goes above the differential snout, and acts as a traction bar for the axle. It is also sneaky. I imagine a limited slip differential carrier is in your future, as well.

@@chud327 no problem I put a Eaton posi 4:11 gear in my 69 camaro 396bb and wow it hooked up awesome, I put lockers in my 74 bronco with 4:56 gearing 35 inch tires and man on the street it was squirly and if it was wet , or rain it would buck out and go sideways with 1/4 of throttle into turns or strait line with a v8 302 maybe making 225hp motor, and c4 automatic tranny just my experience.

To save money on a rear differential you can just weld the rear differential to save money for them rear tires to be spinning at the same time👍

a cheap way to get really nice throttle response and it didnt cost much was a air foil it went in the throttle body dude,also you might want to check the length's on your cold air,i think its supposed to be more like 12 inches not sure but it might help for sure so look into that,ooh also for more power theres a thing on the front of the intake that allows hot water to flow thru the intake,its for cold weather way up north,if you plug those off it will run cooler meaning more power,i did all of these to mine back in 1998 and it was a beast im telling ya.see what else,i had a msd box on mine too so if you see one grab it.most important just make sure nothing is going to hit when your engine flexes like up against the firewall,mine hit and believe it or not it ran not as good i could feel it.on my ls swap i spent days beating and banging my blazer so nothing would hit,people dont realize motors do flex a lot haha cool video

Looks awesome! I don't know if I do a locker or not. To me that makes a fun truck dangerous. I've had V8 and 4.3 S10s loved them both. If that road gets a little wet and you forget for an instance one burp of the throttle and away she goes. Are you concerned about defrost or heat?
@chud327
@chud327 Жыл бұрын
I am debating with myself about the locker, I have been sideways a time or two and know exactly what you are talking about. As for the heat, yes. It is right at the beginning of winter too. I am thinking of getting a 12 volt hairdryer and using it for the defrost. Will probably get a pair of gloves and my jacket on cold days... Thanks for watching!!
