Also called as vaatashonita.
The disease characterised by the pain in the smaller joints.
In morden medicine the disease is called as a gout, caused due to the accumulation of uric acid in a joints.
Vaatarakta is the disease where dooshita vaata and dooshita rakta together will lodge in the sandhi along with the dooshana of local doshas.
Leading to the sandhi shaithilyataa, sandhiveedana, peedaka at sandhi, vakrata of sandhi etc...
Usually the lower joint will affect first and that spreads to upper extremity.
