I actually saw Vaati at a grocery store once. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything. He said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?” I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he kept cutting me off and going “huh? huh? huh?” and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen Milky Ways in his hands without paying. The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to pay for those first.” At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter. When she took one of the bars and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to prevent any electrical infetterence,” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that’s a word. After she scanned each bar and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.

Just came back to watch this video and it hit me how the Elden Ring logo makes so much more sense now. The 6 rings just like he said. The central ring being the basic ending with the 3 overlapping rings depicticting the three variations of the Elden Lord ending. The 5th ring portion on top would then represent Ranni's moon ending. And the 6th ring on the bottom the Frenzied Flame. Vaati is so good at bringing attention to these things.

The concept of overlapping worlds has always been a great deal in the games from From Soft. I think the theory concerning Elden Ring is therefor nearly proven, besides the association with Berserk. The signs to summon help or the invading ghosts originating from other realms and timelines is an important aspect in the series and I would not be surprised if it will be the case in Elden Ring too. Nice little details you picked and I'm glad that the community still hast the dedication to search and find missing parts or additions to the lores of each game. Keep up the good work everyone!

The beast Great one in bloodborne is really cool since it finally completes the annoying thing of all the groups of enemies of bloodborne having an associated old one, probably that they got blood from. Ebrietas for the celestial emissaries and such, Mergo for the snakes and shadows, and kos for the fish-themed stuff. My brain can finally be happy knowing that there was a beast great one from which beastly enemies can be explained by.

Hey Vaati I've been playing a lot of Dark Souls 3 lately and I have some facts that might be interesting. Please forgive me if these are common knowledge, I just thought they were cool 1) In the Oceiros boss chamber, if you look at the floor, there are what appears to be a bunch of titanite slabs. I haven't translated them yet, but maybe it could reveal some interesting lore? 2) If you stay on the level up screen long enough, the Fire Keeper starts repeating her normal dialogue for when you level up. It almost feels like the lines are some sort of ritual? 3) During the Nameless King bossfight, if you block one of his spear thingie attacks, there is a chance that you will get knocked back in a unique animation if you still have stamina. You do almost a roll backwards and then come up with your shield up. If you get hit again and still have stamina, you get pushed a bit backwards. I haven't been able to see if it happens a 3rd time cause each time I lose stamina and shield goes up in the normal way. Anyway, those are just some things I found interesting. Again, sorry if this is common knowledge.

The Elden Ring logo representing overlapping, interconnected worlds reminds me of the Borromean rings, a set of three circles linked in such a way that if any one of them were removed, the other two aren't connected. It has been used symbolically in many cultures and places, usually for strength in unity.

I just started up Sekiro again and in my experience remnants are.. yeah.. People record themselves for 30s just standing, jumping in place, or walking 2ft and stopping. The ground is littered with them too so it throws off the mood a bit. I recommend offline play if you just wanna enjoy the game tbh
