Vacant Industry is one of the best maps I've ever played. The perfect atmosphere along with fantastic sound design.

This really feels like one of the 2002 air exchange interior maps, with even the same textures in some places. On second thought, it is 100% based on the AirEx interior maps, because of the textures and the energy tube.

Hey Rad! Glad you're checking this map out! I remember recommending it to you some time ago. You were able to find lots of rooms which I didn't know about, I even thought this was just an exploration map. But knowing it has an objective to complete makes it much more fun. Thanks for making this video, I was really looking forward to see your thoughts on this. The creator of the map really has talent, he also made an underwater map which is pretty creepy. It even has a functional submarine you can use to explore the various bases throughout the ocean floor.

Very cool map, I think I'll check it out. One of the most unique maps that I've seen in Gmod is "Nester", which is a randomly generated map. The map is made out of rooms and when you open a door, a new room will get generated, and it's a lot of fun to explore it. Though sometimes you may be unlucky and make a dead end immediately, then you have to restart.

I actually didnt realise this was just a Gmod map until the very end when you mentioned it; at first I felt a little dissapointed that there wasn't any resolution or actual ending to the map, but that's because I thought it was a Half-Life modded mini-campaign or something like that. But now, I actually kinda appreciate it more; it takes advantage of Gmod games being technically endless, and provides a map that does seem like it would work as a really cool sandbox or roleplay playground while still having a scary atmosphere and some narrative wether its used like that or not.

You should play though the map again with the multitool, it's in the tent to the right of the spawn area and gives a lot of information. Absolutely one of my favorite maps I've played on, and the addon creators are also the same as the ones who made Abyssal Plain, another amazing map.
