Wow, it's amazing how the Caribbean looks just like Africa, though some vegetation looks different. I love it. Interesting, why do you build your walls in whole concrete instead of bricks?

Poured (whole) concrete is much stronger than blocks and we get a lot of major hurricanes in this region. Also, pouring the concrete is quicker than laying blocks.

Thank you! We will use the rest of the wood to frame the upstairs so not too much lumber buying going forward.
