​ @DuskTheBard Isn’t the first line of the song “My baby don’t mess around?” I always thought this song was more about not being able to find joy in a relationship anymore even though there’s still love for the other person. That kind of burnout is universal across genres imo. Also, lots of classic and modern country deals with topics like infidelity. Look at songs like Toby Keith's “Wish I Didn’t Know” or even the queen of country herself with "Jolene." Not a Bible Belter myself though, so I'm no expert.

André 3000 came to my old metalcore band’s show in Atlanta. We asked the venue owner if it was really him and he said “oh yeah! He comes to every show he can!
