According to the recently announced by the NYS DOH guidance all staff members of the hospital are required to get COVID-19 boosters. Many of us have just had Omicron infection but doesn't matter. I'm not convinced this directive is justified given the findings regarding natural immunity and lack of risk factors on my part. I'm not sure the governor has enough medical knowledge to implement such mandates. The level of autonomy and freedom varies so much depending on the geographical location. I do not know why NY or our country does not recognize the value of an recent infection, which you survived well enough to continue daily life. It could be a simple blood test to measure the antibodies from infection, since they can differentiate them from vaccine antibodies. Perhaps a person would need to have a certain threshold of natural antibodies to get approved to pass on a booster? I do not support taking vaccines which are not needed. I have had my vaccines and booster by choice. If NY and California looked at the data on Delta and concluded previous infection was protective from Delta, shortly they should know if the same could be true with Omicron. There is nuance here as well. Maybe they have a child who has well-documented vaccine injury, or maybe they have high titers to a certain vaccine and want to hold off a bit, or displaying major signs of oxidative stress or methylation issues and want to weigh pros and cons with their doctor first. Heck, maybe they have a healthy child who’s already had Covid…imagine that. For instance, Malone often talks about the ‘trusted news initiative’, which is an international alliance of mainstream news organizations, pharmaceutical companies, and wealthy donors like Gates and Soros- who literally control what types of information is promoted (and discredited) in news outlets all over the world. He has also talked about “fact-checkers” like Reuters that have personally gone after him- and he has pointed out that Reuters is owned by a Pfizer board member. There are the famous emails from Fauci and Francis Collins where they clearly conspire to suppress information they deem dangerous, despite scientific studies that suggest otherwise (essentially killing discourse). Malone talks about these (and other) SPECIFIC examples of people in power trying to silence, censor, and discredit experts who disagree with them. Malones “bottom line” is, this is not how good science is done. Zdogg, however, doesn’t state any of these points. Instead, he summarizes everything Malone says as “he claims there is an international conspiracy to hide the truth about Covid”, and then worse- he gives his personal experience as evidence that’s not true. The implication is that Malone has said all mid-level doctors at your local hospital are in cahoots together, which is obviously ridiculous. And you seem to be validating this ridiculous misrepresentation- I assume because it’s an easy way to discredit Malone without actually having to address his points. Now, I can be FAR MORE specific. I can give many more points that Malone makes that are completely misrepresented by zdogg. But a more accurate “summary” of Malone’s points, in my estimation, is: (1) only vaccinate high risk individuals (2) the science is constantly changing and we should not be censoring discussion on it- ESPECIALLY on people who are clearly qualified to give opinions. (3) There is data that suggests the vax could be dangerous to children- we don’t know for sure- but the risk of covid is so low in kids that it is very hard to scientifically/conclusively support mandating vaccination (and masking) for children. (4) politics have really controlled (and hindered) our ability to respond to the pandemic. Political actors need more accountability and less power in these situations. Now none of those points is radical. But if zdogg said that, he wouldn’t be able to quickly and arrogantly dismiss them as outrageous. So you wanted more specifics, and I can keep going, but I think I’ve expanded on why zdogg is really misrepresentating and slandering Malone in this video.

Malones main message has ALWAYS been that people should have the choice, information should not be censored, and people at low risk (kids) should not be vaccinated. The thing that gets Malone in “trouble” is that he presents the scientific data about vaccine side effects, potential risk, and waning efficacy. The things that zdogg attributes to Malone in this video are ridiculous. It’s infuriating to see him misstate Malones positions and then mock him for it. But I’ve seen this from zdogg before with Geert Vanden Bossche. Zdogg is great until he tries to address what he sees as opposition. @Dogan Do you realize how incredibly biased you have to be to dismiss VAERS data completely? The form takes at a minimum 15 minutes to fill out, and it is a federal crime to make false reports. Plus, CDC removes entries that are clearly fake. Even CDC admits there is no evidence that there is widespread fraud. Still not convinced? Let's take it a step further then. More than half of the reports are filed by medical personnel, so even if we make an outrageous assumption that ALL the other reports are bogus/filed by "antivaxxers", the remaining adverse events is still enough to raise alarms. VAERS data is useful for detecting potential problems that need to be investigated; it doesn't prove that there's something wrong, but to ignore it completely and assume it's "flooded by anti-vaxxers" is irresponsible at best and at worst dishonest. In my opinion, your stance is no better than that of anti-vaxxers who assume every single VAERS incident is caused by the vaccine. You guys have the same thought process but just happen to be on different sides of the issue. www.science.org/content/article/antivaccine-activists-use-government-database-side-effects-scare-public [Some worry this might make it easy to post false reports. But CDC removes data that are clearly fake, such as a recent report purportedly filed by Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro about an adverse event in a beach volleyball superstar. And deliberate, false reporting to VAERS, which is a federal criminal offense, appears to be rare. "We don't have evidence that there is widespread fraud or gaming of the system," says Tom Shimabukuro, deputy director of CDC's Immunization Safety Office, which oversees VAERS. "We have to balance keeping VAERS an open system and getting as much information as we can on vaccine safety against potential data quality problems."]

Vaccinated people shed significantly less virus though. He said that too 🙂 I've always understood this in a mathematical way, and possibly a little computer-sciency too (my field of study). If you take any number less than 1, and you continually raise it to an increasingly higher power, it will tend towards zero. Similarly, when you have many possible transmission chains whereby an infection can move between individuals, and you present this as a graph of nodes and edges, even reducing the odds by 30% at each node will not only lower the overall transmission to 0.7 (70%), it will lower it to some power of 0.7. If you treat enough of the nodes, and keeping in mind that the R-value (how many people a sick person infect) is somewhere between 2.3 and 2.7... the result has to be dramatic!

In late September, I was forced to make my grandmother get the COVID-19 vaccine for her admission into an elderly medical center after she had a stroke. For the past two weeks, they have prevented everyone, including those vaccinated from visiting without a negative covid test that had been taken within 24 hrs. The high demand for C19 tests is causing the turn-around time to increase from 24 and 48 hours to 72 and 96 hours later - ridiculous. Today, I received a call that my grandmother tested positive for COVID-19 (infected by a staff member). I got sick with COVID in May; have taken over 20 tests, have never tested positive a 2nd time, and yet I cannot visit with her: the medical industry is a joke.

So many health workers in hospitals and nursing homes etc who are not getting vaccinated and are going to work sick with covid because their symptoms may be mild, so of course now they're spreading it to the patients. They're supposed to be health workers but they're spreading disease to the patients! And they may not be supported to have sick leave if they test positive for covid.

@Jason Johnson My rant was about the idiocy of the policy and not being able to see my grandmother - not the vaccine. I don't know where you empty people come from, but I wish you weren't able to have so much influence on the policy that governs the rest of us.

Lisa, you are correct. Our medical system has become an utter shameless disgrace on so many levels. I once dated someone who was sales rep for PFizer. Trust me all their drug trials are totally rigged and the doctors are all paid off.

Excellent talk!! My only issue here is Dr. Offit saying vaccines were primarly designed to prevent severe infection. However, this is not how the vaccine trials were designed. There were 2 primary outcomes and none of them were related to severe infection. Severe infection/hospitalization was a secondary outcome. We would need a huge sample size to have sufficient power to compare sever infections.

Were is the control group of the so important randomized-control trial you mentioned so much if every body is mandated to vaccinate? Even control groups of the vaccine trials were eliminated after few weeks giving them all the vaccine too. When will we have that importan information in order to make the right decision?

Will they tell you about studies that show lower rates of leukemia in children who attend daycare? What do you think keeping people especially our young people apart will do to their long term immune systems as we keep them apart on purpose? That is what our immune systems were designed for!
