Absolutely incredible - thank you for sharing it with us so passionately. I'm sure the people responsible would be delighted to see their work enjoyed like this, 80 years later.

Incredible perfection which explains part of the high cost of these watches= incredible hand labor at the almost molecular level! 😍👌❤️👍

Attention to detail... Staggering!!! It's a pride thing between watchmakers to spend all the time and effort on parts that no one but another watchmaker will ever see.

I love VC. On vintage it has the best price for quality ratio today.

Like you I’m just blown away by this piece of art. The contrast between your appreciation of this Vacheron Constantin and the Panerai P9000 is staggering!😅

Not many likes but loves from me. I have a VC with the ultra thin 1003 movement in for servicing, I hope it turns out well, quite anxious about it to be honest.

Can you comment on the horrible burs on the brass teeth in the Patek Split-Second Chronograph movement found on (time of 3:05freeze frame out of 7:35vid) by video title "How Does a Split-Second Chronograph Watch Work" by Watchfinder & Co. These gears (as a machinist I know) were not deburred and so pieces of brass can over time fall into the movement (multiplied by a few more teeth) and 5-7 years the watch acts up and just doesn't run right. The service cost on this watch is crazy. Those teeth were not deburred after they were cut. As a machinist I know to debur the teeth, there's even special deburring tools for this job. Maybe you can make a video on it. Love to hear your thoughts.

Nice but to me Patek is king!! The Grand Chime production video from Patek is like a religious experience for anyone who hasn't seen it!!
