I just bought one of these, and I'm hoping it'll literally save my job if I wake up to a flat tire. My hours get replenished come January, and I've got just enough for one emergency day off, which I'd prefer not to take. How long does it take to fill a tire from 28 to 35?

Doesn't say how long it took to reach 35 PSI. Or how long it takes to inflate a flat tire? 5 minutes, an hour?

I went from 22 psi to 32 psi in a minute or so. It’s a really nice tool to have when you need to quickly inflate a tire.

@@tomab21 I once had a reading of 57, said it needed to be at 65. I think it must have taken somewhere between 5-8 minutes

One thing to note: You can only inflate 2 tires before they recommend shutting down the device for 10 minutes. Also says not to operate for more than 10 minutes without shutting down the device for another 10 minutes.

If you set it at 35 psi, why did it stop at 36?

Just for a moment. These things arent exact, so it must fully fill to 35 and momentarily may read higher. 1psi either way won't make a difference.

It does that because when you take it out of the valve you let some air out for a sec, so it does .5 or 1 psi more to make sure you still have 35 after pulling out

It's $30 right now. For that price, the margin of error being 1psi is just fine. Engineering thresholds are beyond that anyway because it's not safe for the general public to loiter so close to danger.

Doesn't seem accurate, shows 35.5 on tires that were inflated to 32. Will probably be returning it.

It still works even after it smoked. You just have to let it take a break a few times if you’re going to inflate a tire that’s completely flat. It’s got a warranty too. So it’s not too bad.

Mines smoked also. 6 months later it's still running. Use it daily. Yes i will get to the tire shop one day for a plug.

Smoking really is a bad habit. Perhaps you should buy it some anti-tobacco patches and encourage it to lead a healthy lifestyle. Smoking kills.
