Vacuum Cleaner Of The Month - Vorwerk VB100 Verdict & Unboxing Dyson V12 Detect

In today's video I give my verdict on the Vorwerk Kobold VB100 cordless cleaning system and unbox a brand new cleaner that will be my vacuum of the month for September.

I have the VB100 in Australia and the hard floor attachment works really well. It’s so much easier than the VK150 hard floor cleaner where you had to manually put the cleaning fluid on the cloths. I find it the VB100 hard floor attachment works really well on my textured ceramic tiles, but I wish there was an even tougher cleaning pad for really ingrained dirt and to clean the grout as well. It doesn’t clean the floor edges very well so I’ve developed a small ring on my floors that looks dirtier. I have to manually scrub the edges which is a pain. I also have the upholstery attachment and the mattress attachments. The upholstery attachment doesn’t seem to have as much suction as I’d like especially for pet hair. The mattress attachment with the Lavina granules has noticeably helped my dust mite allergies. It’s a very very expensive system but for the ease of use I’m cleaning my floors a lot more. Dealing with a vacuum cord especially when using the hard floor cleaner made it surprisingly a much bigger chore. I don’t know how anyone uses the only included attachment in the base model. I tried cleaning my base boards with it and lifting the vacuum for any extended period of time gave my arms cramps! Unfortunately in Australia a shoulder strap isn’t included or available in our above floor accessory kit, so it does make above floor cleaning awkward and uncomfortable as well.

Wish that Vorwerk would sell their line-up in North America. Our selection of brands has really decreased over the last few years….

I have the v15 for over a year and it still picks up like it did new I haven’t noticed a drop in performance

I don't dislike Dyson's vacuums I just think there are a little bit crazily priced but their stick vacuums actually are probably the reason that battery operated vacuums exist and as good or as they are

Anyone reading this nearly two years on, Vorwerk now has the *VK7 Cleaning System at £859.* I think it was released in the UK at the end of 2023.

£859 is just for the vacuum itself. To get most of the accessories it’s £1305, plus an extra £320 for the powered hose and mattress cleaning set.

@@ibaisaic I know - with the SP7 Wet and Dry Head coming in at £445 alone. Mini mortgage time! Calling it a 'Cleaning System' is a bit of a stretch if you have to buy all the accessories separately...

I had a v12 dyson although it was a blue one bought from Ireland before they came to the uk website, didnt like it, was way too small and felt like it had the power of a v7 plus you cant use v11 pole and floorhead as the fitting is different and unique to the v12
