Vacuum Connector Assembly - Ideal Connector for prepreg

Of course you can assemble it the way you want but this is how I did it (and like it) The 10mm barb wire can be changed for a 8mm, but I prefer the 10mm for a tighter and better seal IMO.

Hi, after watching your video about this through bag connector I bought the same stuff from easycomposite. But instead of using the quick release ibought the standard turn vacuum valve.I assembled accordingly but when doing vacuum bagging process after the pressure reach -1bar the pressure drop super fast as soon as i closed the valve. Can you suggest any problem thay could lead to this problem? I already check any leaking from the bag but there is no problem and even there is, the pressure will drop slowly, not like this, super fast like water flow..

I bought 4 through bag connectors and all of them have the same problem. Could you suggest where can i check the leak? I already resassembled and make it as tight as possible but the same problem still happened.

Did you use Teflon tape? Is every piece tightly screwed with good force? The connection with the bottom part (red piece) caused me the most possible leaks, filled that bottom with Tacky Tape sometimes to be sure and the part where the silicone hose is pushed on the barbwire as well.... Other possible thing might be your technique on how you connect it through the bag, we're you have some possible folds in your bag under the connector, and then it's still possible your bags are the problem but not the connector 🙂

@@ahmadburhaniahmadbasri642 I have just purchased the same system, also getting leaks. I think I had to fully seal up the TBC2 connector with bagging gum. I ended up almost fully covering the TBC2 connector. I am not even sure if the VC200 quick release parts hold a vacuum correctly.
