Great video and recommendation - we are about the take on a huge Techo project and need this tool.

This thing is definitely great and Mquip has a new version of it too. Good luck with your project!

I rented one of these for my project. Awesome equipment. No more bending over and crushed fingers like you said.

That's a great idea. Do you know which tool/equipment rental shop (GTA area) has this type of vacuum paver lifter? Thanks
@iamahardscaper Жыл бұрын
I don't, but if you contact Mquip (they are in Burlington) they rent and they may be able to recommend someone closer.

@@iamahardscaper Thanks. I've tried all the tool rental shop in York region with no luck for any similar tool. Btw, have you tried the similar product from pave tool?

Im guessing a regular 6hp shop vac may work instead? Of course with proper handle
@iamahardscaper Жыл бұрын
I don’t think it will

No, a shopvac does not have near enough CFM to lift. It would be nice if it was that simple:)
@georgegibson7076 ай бұрын
@@eliasnull It has the volume CFM but not the vacuum pressure PSI.

Whats that laying base made from? It seems well compacted to walk on before you even lay the slabs
@iamahardscaper2 жыл бұрын
High density polypropylene. It’s great stuff

Great informative video! Pave Tool Innovators is a great source for all vacuum lifters and equipment! They are in the USA but do ship globally.

Great video. Hopefully you get this message quick. I was looking at purchasing one of these. How does the solo handle work with BLU 60 pavers? Also what size pad do use to lay the 18x24s? They just came out with the blizzard, so now you don't need a back pack. And last do you use the Grip? It's a one hand grip. Thanks
@iamahardscaper2 жыл бұрын
The one man handle words great with blu. The pad fits the 6x13 perfectly. The large slabs I use the two man handle in the thumbnail. I dont know the size of the pad off the top of my head but if you talk to the guys at mquip theyre great. I do not use the one hand grip, I assume that is the one for the grabo?

@@iamahardscaperGreat. Thanks for taking the time to get back to me. Have you tried the blizzard yet?

Not yet. Since I already have the backpack I’ll just stick with it for now.

I may end up just buying a Grabo Pro from IHL. There's just me so renting a two-man lifter doesn't make sense.
@iamahardscaper2 жыл бұрын
You may not be able to pick up your slabs with the Grabo. It is only rated for non-porous materials like natural stone. Concrete is too porous for it.
