OMG thank you so much!!!. I just wanted to get to the transparent bit to wipe it clean and started unscrewing and got carried away and after 10 min found myself staring into the abyss… you really saved my shabat!!

That was great. Thank you! After “someone” used the Dyson to clean up a half a tub of oxiclean that spilled, the head became completely gunked up. This was the perfect deep cleaning tutorial. Thank you.

This was NoT easy but I did it!!! Got it apart and last "pull apart" step I needed to order the torx t8 screwdriver 😢. Waited 3 days then finished disassembling and reassembling. Keep track of your scews! Don't mix them up. They all look alike but......😮😮😮

How can I get a spare of the teflon ring that is on the far right. Mine is used up and vibrates, the motor goes to protection and stops
@richardsvacuumcenterАй бұрын
I’m not aware of any parts available for that motor. You most likely need to replace the whole head

The black gasket on the clear cover was already loose when I took it apart, but now I can NOT get it back on there. More than half of it is hanging and is very stretched out and will not stay in place now. What do I do now or any tips to get it to seal back in place?
@richardsvacuumcenter5 ай бұрын
You can use a drop of super glue to keep it in place and just trim the excess off

My misses washed the power head not knowing there was a motor there. It still works but I’ve lost the white o-ring and the plastics are eating away the roller. What would be the process of changing the power head motor? Thanks
@richardsvacuumcenter11 ай бұрын
They do not make the motors available separately unfortunately. Unless you can buy a used one on eBay or something…

This is so frustrating. I have a V11 Animal model and after rotating and popping off the end cover, the brush roller still cannot be pulled out. I noticed you slightly rotated the brush and it came out easily; however, my brush roller is completely locked up and will not move in either direction. I've had this model for about 3 years and never had a problem until recently when I removed hair & lint from the roller. The brush roller worked for about 5 seconds, then completely stopped turning. The motor still runs just fine. Now, what do I do??

What a design failure. All this to clean the plastic cover which should’ve had a clip feature where you can just pop it off to wipe it down. Almost want to return our shit to Costco.
@TheFakeyCakeMaker11 ай бұрын
This is very useful but it would have been great to see you actually clean it, I know that sounds like it should be obvious but with the machine being so expensive I'd really appreciate recommendations of what to use and what not to. Just my opinion, it's still a good video. 🙂
@richardsvacuumcenter11 ай бұрын
Thanks! Perhaps next video I make I’ll include some footage of cleaning it. I didn’t consider that content that people would find useful. But just for you I’ll tell you I use dawn dish soap and various brushes that I get from harbor freight.
