I knew about the overheating thing. But, it quit on me and I had no clue why. You pointed out the clog in the hose, specifically at that angle, and that was my problem! Cleaned it out. Put the hose back on, and she fired right up. I can't thank you enough for your video here!!!

Thank you so much for mentioning the overload(heating up). My vacuum stopped working and I waited for it to cool off. I tired it and nothing happened. Figured I would be fixing it all night. Found your video and when I heard that I plugged it back in and it worked. I wasn't ready to give u on this vacuum yet and I certainly didn't want to buy another one. Thank you.

This video helped me find the clog. It was in the hose. I took it off and took what you did with the broom handle and shoved it in there and the big wad of pet hair came Flying out. It works great now. I will keep an eye on it so this doesn't happen again. Thank you So much

So much cheaper than junking it and buying a new one. Hope it lasts many more years

The HEPA filter is underneath the fan at the bottom of the container. If you take a look at the front of the vacuum, you’ll see two indentations where it says HEPA squeeze, squeeze it and pull it out.

Awesome!!! I had a HUUUUUGE CLOG! Nice video! 💪🏼

Thanks for the video. Clogs the first thing to check for. Should be a no brainer. Unfortunately I was lookin for something more thorough. Like some disassembly/part replacement.
@bread-gz3rl2 жыл бұрын
You should probably take it apart and oil the bearings as well and wash the fan because it sounds like there's alot of fines in there
@EverydayJourney2 жыл бұрын
It probably wouldn’t be a bad idea. I was only trying to get it to working condition so that I could give it away for someone who needs one. In my experience, things can break when trying to disassemble them. I’d hate to break it and then not be able to help someone

I had to bypass the power switch after it went out. Currently have a clog near the bottom panel right where the air comes in the machine first. I have yet to find a video or text that explains taking that bottom panel off. There is one for top panel to repair the belt, but mine is not a belt problem and not sure at this point its the same area. Sticking a long screwdriver in there doesn't have right angel. There are no screws or other obvious ways to get the bottom plate off.

@@EverydayJourney there's a drain cleaner that's like a ziptie with thorns also works great with hoses. Especially when hair is an issue

I have the same model...turned it on 3x then the 4th time the power button just went limp like there was no push back a button usually has and it wont turn on. Can you do a video on how to take it apart to see what the problem could be?
@EverydayJourney10 ай бұрын
I would take it apart as shown. Check the switch for proper functioning and then check it with a multimeter to make sure it switches electronically. The switch might be your problem

If the motor is coming on, you have some type of obstruction. Just gotta track it down. Either that or you have hole of some sort that is causing a vacuum loss

Hey what we are diong if wire does not go inside
@EverydayJourney2 жыл бұрын
I actually started making a video for this but decided not to publish it because I couldn’t repair it without getting another wire spool. I didn’t buy the new part because I wasn’t happy with the design and knew that would fail like the old one. Final conclusion is poor design

Sometimes the thermal fuse that is supposed to come back on once it cools off only works once. They normally only stop working when the fuse wears out. This one must be defective
