We start by walking through what's in the box when you get your Tineco PURE ONE S11. We also describe what comes with each S11 model (Tango, Standard, Spartan). A more detailed description of the tools follows, and a demonstration of how the pre-filter cleaning tools works is shown.
The "Tango" comes with two cleaner heads (multi-tasker cleaner head for carpet and soft-roller cleaner head for hard floors). We describe the two cleaner heads and show how the brushroll is removed and installed.
The battery is described and we show how it is removed and installed. Recharging the battery is easy if you have installed the wall moount but if you do not want to install the wall mount we show why it is a little annoying to recharge the vacuum.
The top of the handheld component is a display and we walk through all the display features. We also highlight the unit's trigger lock which is a handy feature.
A suction comparison table is provided that shows Tineco S11 suction alongside the Tineco S12 and a host of Dyson stick vacs. We also perform run time tests and show how long the S11 will last on carpet and on hard floors using the two cleaner heads.
The dust canister on the unit is a reasonable size and we compare it to some other popular cordless stick vacuums from Dyson and Shark.
We show all the filters and how to access them. We then describe filter maintenance including when to clean them and when to replace them.
Noise level tests were done with a digital noise level meter and we discuss the noise level of the S11 - as compared to other cordless stick vacs. We also show a table of vacuum weights indicating that the S11 is fairly lightweight when compared to many other cordless stick vacuums. We also indicate that the handheld component of the S11 is a comfortable weight.
We find vacuum movement on carpet to be average and movement on hard floors to be better. But we wish the vacuum could turn more sharply. We compare the max turn angle of the S11 to that of the Dyson V8.
A host of cleaning tests are performed, shown, and discussed included a carpet cleaning test, a hard floor cleaning test, a hair cleaning test, and an edge cleaning test.
To end, we highlight the S11 smartphone app.

Upon a second watching, I saw the note that the Spartan version does not include the prefilter cleaning tool. I just got my Spartan in today and was initially confused why it was missing. But if you register the product, you get a free gift (which today was a new prefilter), add the prefilter cleaning tool for $22.99 and you save a few bucks vs if you buy the prefilter cleaning tool and prefilter combo for $31.99. Especially if you get free shipping (orders over $9.99). I also tossed in the soft roller brush so my cheap Wal-Mart purchase ended up costing me more than I planned. Oh well. Nice review!

You kind of answered my question already, but I was wondering if you're just transferring the dust from one prefilter to the one in the machine? Hopefully more of it ends up in the dust bin, and not on the clean filter. Otherwise, it seems kind of pointless. Love your videos, and always look forward to you reviewing new machines!

I had to return my Tineco S11. It would not glide over my carpet. I tried using both attachments too. Seems like there was just too suction and you cannot raise the rollers on it. I then bought a Dyson V8 and no problem at all.

That's interesting. The S11 Pure One that I have has a completely difference mechanism for brush removal. It's toolless for brush roller. The soft roller is more like your brush roller.

Shame you didn't download the app as that seems to be the usp of this vacuum and many people might buy it because of the app! The filter cleaner seems like a good idea even if you do end up transferring some of the dust to the clean one:-)

I have been researching these vacuums for days! In your opinion, should you go with this Tineco S11 Tango or the Dyson V8 absolute. I can get a refurbished Dyson V8 for the same price as a new Tineco. I was leaning towards the Tineco, but because I am located in Canada, I am nervous if I require any repairs and parts in the future, it may be hard to get my hands on them in Canada. What are your thoughts between the two?

It depends. What are the characteristics ur looking in a stik vacuum? Power, versatility, filtration, quality, tools, great pet/human hair handling, battery life, etc

@@blackice7408 most importantly to me is suction if hair as I have 2 dogs, most hardwood with few carpets and ofcourse battery. I purchased the Tineco S11 tango, am trying it out for now. So far so good. Wish it came with a second battery like the S12. I am still nervous buying the Tineco due to potential of difficulty getting replacement parts or customer service in Canada.

@@shygirl1321 from some other reviewers they were comparing it to the dyson v15 and although it may not be as good per se, a lot of people were comparing the two and for the price it was definitely worth it. Plus it has a charging mount unlike the vortex. I got it when they were running a Valentine’s Day sale and I also found a coupon code (DREAMENEW) which took another 10-20% off so I ended up paying around 315 for it which I thought was a steal compared to the prices for some of the other vacuums.

That's a good question. I just gave it a try. It is still ok for me but the trigger lock is indeed much closer to my finger (when using my left hand) and it seems like it might get in the way if you have large hands.
