Josh, thanks for making this video. I felt confident in tackling the hose repair on our spot cleaner watching this. What I lacked was the finger and hand dexterity to do it smoothly. 😂 A magnetic bowl or jar for the screws is a must or you could spend an hour looking for the 6 mounting screws for the clean and dirty tanks like I did. Don't wrap your screws in paper towel. 😂🤦‍♂️ After almost 2 hours and 26.00 our spot cleaner sucks again! Cheers.

Woke up this morning to a sick dog and a torn hose. I held the tear together long enough to clean up the mess. Next step? KZbin for a repair video! Fixing things that still work is my contribution to reducing landfill. Thanks for a well done tutorial!!

Thank you for the clear instructions. AUD$33 for the part and 15 minutes work (would have been faster if I hadn’t kept dropping one of the screws under motor when reassembling). Job done and I have my cleaner back. 👍👍

This was a great tutorial, thank you. My hose does not have a hole but desperately needs cleaning since the sole purpose of this machine is cleaning up pet urine. Do you have a video on general cleaning? I have the 2694 as mentioned in this video. Thank you again.

I came to this video for the same reason as yourself. Unfortunately, I have found out the hard way that the only way to truly clean the hose is to remove it entirely prior to cleaning. It makes this tutorial perfect for hose maintenance since it involves removing and replacing the same hose!

So replacing the hose was the easy part, I managed to figure that out myself, but since replacing the hose the clean water tank is leaking from the seal??! Did you do anything special when screwing the plate down for the clean side with regards to the seal? It didn't leak before, and now it does, and I can't see why it's suddenly leaking when I put the clean water tank on

No, the hose has molded ends. You can't replace just the hose length itself. A link to purchase the hose is in the video description.
