I watched vada Chennai movie today.Film duration is 2 Hrs 45 min bcoz the story travels by Non linear screenplay through the main 5 characters ( Danush, Amir, Andreah, Samuthrakani and Kishore). Intermission gives a big twist and the film ends by showing Danush as a lead character for part 2.When u clearly watch the film u will feel tat this is not a one hero subject bcz every character is equally justified. Amir as Rajan Andreah as Chandra Danush as Anbu Performed very well and last 45 min of the film enters into crime thriller and makes us sitting in the edge of seat especially the murder scene at the Hotel. Director vetriman carefully adeed and presented only little of 80's 90's and 2000's politics which required for the story. It's a special treat for Gangster film lovers. Waiting for part 2 and part 3

Vadachennai is a really good movie. Yes. It’s very raw however pudhupettai is another class, errs in the side of more sensational bang on moments. I hope the next two parts of Vadachennai bring it close to pudhupettai but for me, not this one yet. I hope there are some really amazing moments like pudhupettai on the next one. The best gangster film in Tamil cinema is still pudhupettai. I would highly recommend anyone thinking otherwise to at least rewatch it. It was way tougher film for Dhanush, this was such a breeze for him.
