Fun Fact: On Vadact's Second run as a B-17, and his tail was cut off, B-17's were 'Flying Fortress' Because of their durability. As Previously said, a handful of B-17's Could actually survive having their tail cut off!

I feel like they made the distinction between real vs AI. Being AI = Silver / metal bare skin . Real = Army Olive drab . Also, the flight maneuver and just movement in general . Or they see the HUD / ID tags above yins but if not then I believe that’s how they were a lot more successful after that first initial wave. They knew to pick out the olive green ones and to try and distract you so after they dive they can come up behind while others continue to dive . Awesome video!

The Germans did actually kamikaze but it was only in a special squadron called "Sonderkommando Elbe." Kamikaze was when the Japanese rammed boats, and Sonderkommando Elbe was when the Germans rammed bombers. So you would call it Sonderkommando instead of kamikaze. Edit: Sonderkommando Elbe only actually flew one mission where most of their planes were taken down and they only brought down a few bombers, so it was a failed mission.

Essentially, "Sonderkommando Elbe" was a unit that literally translates to "Elbe special command" - as in the European river. Thus, you wouldn't call it "Elbe" because that's a river, you wouldn't call it "Sonderkommando Elbe" because that's the unit, and you wouldn't call it "Sonderkommando" because that's a noun (it'd have to be a verb for it to be an action). Out of the three, "committing Sonderkommando Elbe" is probably the most fitting as it is specific enough to not be confused with general German words, and can be interpreted as an action (or at least moreso than the others). Of course, I understand "Kamikaze" is itself a noun, which has taken the role of an action in English. However, I just can't get over how gramatically incorrect it sounds from a German-speaking point of view (which might explain why you think it sounds totally fine).
