I recently bought the quartz version of this watch and I'm very pleased with it. Only snag for me was that because it was via FedEx, I got caught for the import tax (yes - i know its the law, but I've been lucky with some other watches via other carriers) This pushed the price from c£150 to £190. Still happy with the watch - and like you I had a few conversations direct with the owners. The lume on mine is excellent. It came with three straps and I've also had fun with third party straps as the watch is a bit of a strap monster.

Yeh I just got a bill from fed ex for the tax, but I am so happy with the watch I don’t mind.

I'm so happy it's mostly brushed. Specs are ideal for me, and love the case shape. This watch is lovely. Dig the dirty dozen small seconds version a lot too. I've noticed on the website, some models have patinated colored lume on the hands, some don't. Is this customizable? I actual prefer it with the patinated hands, especially if I could get that on the dirty dozen.

You are not nit picking about the American Assembly placement. It looks awkward. Nice piece otherwise. Looks great with the leather strap. Nice review.

Watch The Time Should be delivered by Monday but requested to be held at a FedEx location to hopefully get it sooner! (Since they’re open on weekends). Pretty excited for it, been a lengthy wait!
