Dear Isabella, I have been watching lots of video of ballet on YT and I love your videos! I am quite impressed about the insights you have with regard body awareness. I am much older than you and I never was a professional ballet dancer, only recreational but what I can tell you is that in 30-40 years you will look back and realize the incredible personal teaching that those moments and experiences have shaping your life, not just the physical aspect but the mental and emotional one. At least that has been the case for me: ballet gave me the disciple to pursue other field with determination and grace...but I still love ballet and still take classes. I admire you greatly and I do think you have a great future ahead of you!

Absolutely love these videos and hearing your insights! Could you do a walkthrough of a character class or something at some point? I heard you talking about how special those classes were at Vaganova, so think it would be super interesting to hear you go into more detail!

That analysis of the jeté menage (at 14:47) is great! It does look more beautiful when the dancer keep the back facing the large imaginary circle as long as possible at each jump. It seems to give a more expanded flying feeling.

I find it interesting that the entire exam is done with flat shoes! Also I observed that you did your jete menage continuously as compared to your classmates. Was it an option that the class was allowed to choose, or was it just assigned to you? Just curious! Thank you for the insights!
