This explains why stress in the mother often causes a child to develop more limbic symptoms activity and prone to effects like hypochondria and other neurological damage as well as providing a way through to the brain to help calm that response mechanism and bring in more stable reactions and allow the frontal cortex to gain more access and therefore,more clarity of perception which can bring healing and reduce the need for medical intervention. My perception from long term research on my own Dis-regulated Brain from Developmental Trauma

What do you mean by "providing a way through to the brain to help calm that response mechanism ... "? What provides that?

@@sofasangriamusic3337 hi. I have found that doing the Vagus nerve RESET exercises bypasses all the glitches that I have accumulated over the years as protection and goes directly to my nervous systems and my whole BODY benefits not just my Cognitive. hope that answers your question.

This explains a lot, I believe covid had something to do with damaging my vagus nerve and I've been experiencing all the symptoms you just described but unfortunately my doctors don't seem very knowledgeable about it at all and they just tell me it's anxiety.

Was that before or after you got the vaccine?
@lyonsdavid Жыл бұрын
@@sandrashane677 I got sick before I got the vaccines, I hesitated on getting it for a long time, but my doctors convinced me to get it, I thought it couldn't hurt because I was already sick, I think Covid itself caused my problems, but I'm not 100% sure.

I had several episodes of compulsive throwing up, headaches, acid reflux and basically being unable to do anything else but sleep. It was only after several hours of sleep that my body reset. None of the doctors seem to know or talk about the Vagus nerve. It was my Ayurvedic Yoga guru who asked me to look into Vagus Nerve Inflammation. Great part is that Gargling, Singing, deep Breathing, rectifying posture and being relaxed in general are ways to keep Inflammation at bay. Has worked out well for me. I hope it works for you too.

@ruggerogabbrielli6831 Жыл бұрын
Good. Please be aware that neurons that terminate in the solitary nucleus via the vagus nerve do not provide general visceral afferent fibers that conduct sensory impulses from the carotid bodies, but only from the aortic bodies.

I am quite shocked to see that there is a procedure called vagotomy. I was studying about stomach ulcers and high levels of acidity in the body. This can happen when we do not manage our stress level, eat foods that are acid forming like soda, the use of aspirin and more... I stumbled on an article on Healthline and it says: A vagotomy is a type of surgery that removes all or part of your vagus nerve. This nerve runs from the bottom of your brain, through your neck, and along your esophagus, stomach, and intestines in your gastrointestinal (GI) tract. The vagus nerve has a range of functions, including helping your stomach produce acid for digestion and making you feel full after eating. Vagotomy procedures are used to help treat stomach ulcers, which are sores that result from an H. pylori infection or erosion from stomach acid.

Do not let anyone touch or mess directly with your vagus nerve. I have a good friend who had a surgery on hers because of seizures and now she is in a mental health facility for over 9 months. Dr's do not know enough about this to be messing around with it. Watch the videos Dr Ross Hauser does on you tube and see how much damage can be done if someone does not know what they are doing.

I believe I had vagus nerve damage caused by stress that affected my stomach which made my heart skip so many beats. This lasted a year until my stomach eventually calmed down. I have a 21 year old daughter who has been diabetic for almost 11 years. She landed in hospital with an infection. We went through a nightmare as she was wrongly diagnosed. She was left unattended in the hospital for almost 6 hours. I wasn't allowed to stay with her but nobody checked her sugar or offered her water. She had been throwing up. Then after 10pm we were told she had a bladder infection and the other hospital said she had an ear infection. The ambulance took her to the other hospital as the previous hospital said she would need to go to ICU. We don't have health insurance. That was almost 5 years ago. I'm now addicted to a tranquilizer which I didn't want to take but had to eventually. 😢

@sundayoliver31474 ай бұрын
There are ways to deal with nerve pain, but you won't find them in medical science, in my experience. If your state has legal marijuana, I've found that to be one of the very few things that help, both internally and topically applied (I had all kinds of different nerve pain). Far infrared is something else that can help. Your mileage may vary, but these are two things very worth trying.

I have been going through major health issues and all the tests are coming back normal, and I have noticed that when my heart starts to pate, it runs up the side of my face down into my stomach and the bottom of my feet I had two lap surgeries could this be, my problem with my illness? Please Please help.
@sundayoliver31474 ай бұрын
I don't know if this will help, but I was sent to the ER with a similar issue-- nausea, high blood pressure, I passed out and sweated heavily. The doctor there said he thought it was a vagus nerve issue. I was impressed, because honestly most doctors wouldn't look that far. As to what to do about it, don't look to medical science. It helps to be here and know the anatomy, but healing is another thing.

There's a lot of meditation bs about it but I'll tell you one thing. The more I scientifically study and find scientific publications the more some of that stuff proves to be true. One example, the different hormones production in prana respiration with left nostril and right nostril, PubMed. That's only one of a lot. So I learned never to have prejudice upon things... But anyway, a lot of things are bs.

Correction : vagus nerve slow down heart rate
@Alilamedicalmedia Жыл бұрын
Correction? Did the video say otherwise?
@sundayoliver31474 ай бұрын
As my ER doctor said, they can also tense up and constrict the aorta and create higher heart and BP rates. In its uninflamed state, yes, it slows down heart rate as does the rest of the parasympathetic system when it's operating well.
