I love his candor on wedding receptions. My tip for surviving wedding receptions - and preserving your hearing: get those thick waxy ear plugs and put a big plug of those into each ear, and suddenly the wedding reception is more bearable. DJs today are way too loud

Exactly. Way to loud. Not only loud but some much bass your organs for for a work out. haha. I never understood why the need for such loud music. I'd rather socialize at weddings as a guest but as a photographer that wouldn't be to fun. We need the dancin.

All I can say is "Wow", this was a fantastic chat, made my day. His work is outstanding, I like how he doesn't freak out and actually embraces grain in his images, his subjects and locations are fabulous and beautiful. Thank you so much for having him on your channel, I am not a wedding photographer but I was drafted to do about (4) weddings in my life for friends or for their children which I did as a wedding gift, prints, albums etc. I have the utmost respect for wedding photographers I always felt an ulcer coming on when I had to get ready to do one, the fear of screwing up a shoot on a friends wedding or their child was borderline insanity for me. In the end I survived and they were happy with what I delivered but I won't be doing any more. You guys earn every penny that you charge....nothing but respect.
