Your apologies fall short. You are lumping everything together without going into any specifics or trying to set the record straight. You're also blaming others for their negativity toward you when there are no instances of that. The channels and people that have distanced themselves did so because of your actions and the actions of those who you associate with. They have ALL maintained their silence despite dozens of negative and undeserved references toward them over the past two years. Do you really expect them to just forget two years of harassment simply because you'e decided to make a change? Hearing you say you've changed, but you can't force others to do that same is akin to not apologizing at all. None of the people you've mocked or harassed have said a word about you, what do they have to apologize for when they took the high road? Watching people in the comments trip over themselves pretending you're the victim or you can do no wrong is mind boggling. There's no accountability in the world anymore and it's because of people like them. If you want to make amends, you're going to have to do better than blaming the very people you're apologizing to. My offer to do a livestream still stands, as it did in January.

That's the thing, the photographer was not tight lipped. As I mentioned, she did an hour long interview with The Vendor Table here on YT, but I tuned out after ten minutes because it seemed like the photographer didn't send the client full galleries of her work. So I was like, mannn.... this lady is not even trying to help herself out. She even looked sepia on the interview. But yeah, any business owner who deals directly with clients has been here once or twice. So definitely a good cautionary tale on what not to do.

@@thedrunkweddingphotographer oh no I mean tight lipped as in, at the end when asked about legal ramifications, she smirked and a declined comment. There MIGHT be more drama yet. I think part of the issue has been that the TikToks are dramatic and short. Easy to consume and entertaining at the same time. The photographers side of the story is long format on a smaller channel. It’s worth a full watch to really get a sense of the level of who’s really acting out of pocket. Either of them could be lying, but the photographer’s side has some added details. Seems like she did try harder than Sepia bride gave her credit for. Where I’ll never side with the photographer, is 8-10 grand range for a wedding. This story is the primary reason I am a wildlife photographer and not a people photographer. I've never had a deer try to sue me or disparage my career because it didn't like the way a couple photos turned out. I don't know how the photos were edited. I will say the photos she claimed she was given were not well done. Poses and the like were good enough (for a non wedding photographer) but the way the colors were applied was bad. The. yellow of the foliage was horrible. I would have been unhappy but not sure how I would have reacted. Again, the best news for me is a deer just doesn't care. :) The young woman who shot my son's wedding did a wonderful job, my son and his wife were absolutely clear exactly what they were getting, got some sample proofs first to provide feedback and the edits were great. A little "high key" for my editing taste but that is what my son and his wife wanted. The "light and airy" look Drunk Wedding Photographer was talking about. Don't want it to sound like I am somehow against wedding photographers. It's a tough gig and not one I would be comfortable and do not have the right personality type to do.

As I mentioned, it's the cost of doing business regardless of industry. If you deal with people, you're destined to get a bad apple or two here and there. Thankfully, I have only had three bad experiences in all my years. But that's the thing! No one wants to hear an hour's worth of positive client experiences.

Hey I just visited the Sepia bride photographer's webpage, for only $109 you can also edit your photos like hers. Looking at her webpage, she delivered exactly what she produces. I'm on the fence about this one. However, the images she takes and how she edits are not worth $8,000. Her wedding shots are not timeless, they're very cliche. I encourage you to take a look at her website and portfolio and you'll agree with me. She seems to be a lazy photographer, just applying her preset to all her images and calling it a day.

Yeah, if you are not biased I think you can say Canon has the best AF; better than Sony & Nikon. But the question you have to ask; is it worth it? For me personally; no. I think Nikon's Z9, Z8, ZF & Z6 III and many of Sony's cameras have good enough AF that other factors are more important. Namely lenses. I can't lie I'm just much more impressed by the overall package you can get in something like a Z8 or a Z6III and the Z Mount. Sony need to step up though, the A7IV is slow asl, and they have no notable competitor in that £/$4000 stacked sensor camera range. Plus Sony's IBIS is average at best. That said, the variety of lenses you can get on E-Mount is still a big positive.

yeah, "down valuing" is an age old tactic in negotiating price. If the $1,400 was a fair price, then the guy decides if he wants to spend it or not. happens in negotiations every day. I don't think it is a scam, he just didn't want to spend the money. Waste of time is more like it than scam.

The original R5 was a breakthrough and to this day is still kind of relevant for the price and Can punch Toe to toe with other brands. It was essentially future proof when it came out whereas the mark two version does not seem future proof it seems by today standards good enough. Like you mentioned people that already have invested into Canon glass there essentially forced into this update because they have no other option. I’m upset the R5 does not have the dual see if express update as well as an improved flip out monitor screen also they’re missing variable shutter speed for video.

One time he said, do you want something? Now for a while, I saw that in a different light. Like a guy guy said, awe you dumb ass crooks, you dumb f*k'n guy guy stupid crooks. The funny part is, he's been deed for 13 years, and I got nobody 'kosher' to allusion reference, maybe a movie star, well at least he is very old and not a bad ass. The last thing he baught before he died killed him, the smiles in the air was all he kept. And it really looked alright, but he was too high class at long last. Putting in the garage, God forbid washing it, it aged him 3,000 years of longing, nothing is for you. "Hey a monsters kid, oh ho ho ho, look who just my hand, now that kids a life savings worth." But who could think about what others are for?

As when I seen this video that I have a stories to tell you. When I first time that I seen you that I told you that I have the Nikon F with the original Motor drive as I was very proud in owning it, As when I was in Japan in 1992 that I as using in shooting a Model at a area of a Japanese Shrine, and I was the only one using my F, in which I call it Frank B, as the others Photographers were using the Nikon F4, and seen me, and they came to me, and as some want to hold it. That is how you make friends, and when I got back that I told my co-workers when in japan in 1992 that I shot about 340 to 360 Rolls of both Color & B/W as I shown them the B/W Proof Sheets as they were please that I was shooting everyday, and then came a person in which he was the Smart Ass Customer as I was getting coffee from the office, and when I returned he was looking at my proof's, and he told me good work, and this is the problem started - as he told me in what camera that I was using, and i told him that it is an old 35mm camera, and he kept asking me the brand name, and I told him that the camera is just a tool, and he was getting upset as I had my camera, and I brought it out as his comment was: "That is not a camera - This is a camera" and he pull out his Leica M4 as I said to him this: "Hey do you know of a Photographer Edward Steichen?" as he said Yes I had lunch with him last week, as my co-workers were kinda smiling, and I told him really, as I said to him that Steichen Died back in 1971, and you said you had lunch with him... he was either lying or making fun of me and my time when I was in Japan in which it was the most experience time of my life shooting Day, and Night, Sun, and Mostly RAIN, my camera Frank. I did not like this guy, as he was a Bragger, and liar. and another time that I started reading Dpreview.com, and Peta Pixel that when I join in to give simple comment or even answer a question of a photographer that was using film, and had a question, and he thank me, however that I was BASH! by other shooters, and mostly insulting comments to me, as being doing photography since 1972, and shooting mostly film, and still shooting digital as I complaint to both dpreview, and Peta Pixel as they had standards of photo bashing, but it kept continued on and on that I stay with them for 6 months, and QUIT. As most of the Bashing were the same of them saying to me: "That is Not a Camera that you are using. A SONY A7 or A9 is the camera, and I told them that in what I said to this person that came to store as he was seeing my proof sheets as I said to these Amateurs Rookies this saying in what Edward Steichen said this: "No Photographer Is As GOOD As the Simplest Camera" As even he been dead since 1971 that one of his photo prints sold in auction for about $11.8 MILLION in which it was the photograph of the New York Flatiron Building 1904. These people that bragged about their Sony's, Lumix, Leica's, and claiming to be the leading artists in street photography, and also that I gave my comments of one shooter called: MAC SHOOTS FILM as my comment is one word: "WRONG" as thinking that he is the world's greatest shooter that still saying this camera is good and I love it, and then saying of another camera is good, and i love it, and on and on, that I stop watching, and again with Jared Polin, as I stopped watching him as he said on film that Film Shooters are Losers, so screw him, and again with Northrop, and his wife, all I can say to him that Pickup a Photo History book, and brush up with your History on Photography, and Cameras, as when they both were doing a history of Pentax cameras that him, and his wife were Wrong, and wrote to them saying that your both Wrong. Well that is my story, I still watch you due to that you are saying from the heart, and Love the story of the person that you refuse to do the wedding because he argue about the Canon 5Ds, as higher pixels does not make the photo perfect, it is the shooter.. Well that is it, and I await on your comment, as I will continue doing my photography in Peace as last July 7 was my birthday, as I am 68, and 53 years doing photography, and next year I will be going to Japan for the 20th time as i will be shooting up a storm with both film, and digital. As I missed working at the Camera store that I use to work, as helping students, and most of the camera stores in San Francisco are getting to be a rare thing to see, as becoming to be a dying breed of business.

It is because gear talk is (often) fun, interesting, entertaining, whereas deeper talks about e.g. - the arts, - the psychology, - the meaning of things in life and how this is reflected in photography, aren't popular at all. Many photographers don't reflect these things actually, and don't want to. Many are happy, if they got e.g. a lucky birds-in-flight shot suitable for bragging. That's all they expect from their photography. Every KZbin channel knows about that, knows which videos tend to be clicked, which topics are suitable for a clickbait, and which are dead-on-arrival. I assume, that many (esp. males) enjoy arguing about technology, because this can be seen in other technology areas (e.g. HiFi audio, car brands, etc). If this gets heated, then only because of self-esteem attached to certain brand/gear decisions. I can accept that as being just human nature (or male nature), and therefore wouldn't take that all too serious 😉
