For me a Bassman, JTM45 and 1959 SLP in a single pedal. These tones do not even need an additional amplifier, so it also is a nice direct recording tool, just add a nice cabinet IR and you are there. No so cheap, on the other hand, if you buy this one, you can easily sell all your other overdrive pedals... ...plus, you can most probably even fine adjust it with different (vintage) tubes. I already had a lot of tube pedals, but this one sounds outstanding, if not perfect. Meanwhile I also use it sometimes as some sort of tube power amp replacement in combination with other pedals/preamps. It has no a very dominant unique own character, but exactly this makes it to a secret weapon for optimizing other gear, especially if you have learned how to use the 3-band eq effectively. But also works great in front of eg. a Plexi, if you look for some beefier, hotter, well balanced sounds, but also, if you want to "dumbleize" it. Turn down drive and the tone controls almost completely, and you get excellent Tweed 5E1/5F1/5E2/5F2 tones, only less scratchy maybe in combination with a Jensen 8" or 10" cab IR.

LOVE the left channel 'muted plink plink' first heard around the 50 sec mark! I love adding little 'horn blast' like things into grooves. That's how I think of things like that, 'what would a horn section add to this?', then I do similar on my instrument.

I've been making my living as a professional musician in Nola for 20+ years and thought I'd heard Cissy Strut done in every possible way. Very cool version! Great sound as always, you're a fantastic player!

An excellent pedal. Does what it does super well (and can nicely add a tube amp quality to a solid state amp😉). JJ inside😊. Great covers, as always, Mike!
