Doug I love your video's "Who wants to ride on a Massey Ferguson, I do" That was great. You sure do a good job of explaining the product and I do like the all metal tractors. The only thing I don't see are cabs and belly mowers in 40hp range. I wish they has some all metal Kubota equivalents.

What is the height of the 2850e with the protective bar down. I want to make sure it fits in my garage

MF 2850E minimum Height with Roll Bar in down position is 80" or 6' 8" Height. May vary a little by tires size but that is what we measured on our lot.

You have such excellent videos, appreciate all the efforts! Question - I've always used #2 red-dyed diesel in my tractors. Regular vehicle diesel should be the same, except for the dye & higher cost per gallon. Do you or Massey Ferguson have a preference with one over the other?

On Road and Off Road Fuel is the same EXCEPT Off Road is dyed red for NO Road Taxes. Save your money use Off Road Fuel and Pay No taxes.

Does not have Gauge but has Engine Temperature Warning Light.

Is there another hydraulic fluid brand that is equal to agco for this tractor at a better price ?

There are cheaper oils but they aren't equal to the quality and additive package you get with AGCO Permatran 821XL. Oils must meet current Massey Ferguson Spec of M-1145. There are several varations of Massey Specs for Permatran make sure its M-1145 if you decide to go cheaper. But I would highly recommend learning what makes the differences in cheap oil versus premium oil. We did a video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/oHqoeahro7KSabc there are differences!
