Great info! I wish Massey had a fix for the 2021 a/c systems. My 4710 has a hard time keeping me cool in Texas heat and I have to blow out that cab filter daily during hay season

We get equally as Hot in Missouri just not as Long and maybe more Humidity. The Big thing we teach is making sure condenser in front of radiator is extremely clean if Air Conditioning can't exchange heat and remove it through the condenser then it's going to reduce efficiency. Cab Filter is next important element. With all the Glass and Cab Volume...bright sunshine can really warm the cab. We've had customers Ceramic Tint their Cab Glass (Look at the Front Fender Pics in Video) and he's never run AC on Max on 2021 Year Model.

I don't know the specs of Stage 5 and what levels of NOx & Particulate Matter that 4707 outputs. So I can't answer that question. But if it needs to be cleaner then SCR Technology is the Best Solution we already have it on the 4708, 4709 or 4710 Models. Make an easy transition if it does require

As a 2021 4707 owner, if DEF comes on Tier 5 07’s, it’ll kill that model’s sales. While my logic may seem irrational, I think a lot of dudes forgo HP to avoid DEF. But over time I’ve noticed less and less problems with the blue fluid systems. So by 2030 it’s possible nobody will care and just buy 4710’s as a default.

We actually sell more DEF Models (4708, 4709 and 4710) than 4707 Non-DEF. Massey Ferguson DEF System with small dosing percentage compared to competition and dual NOx System that only doses if needed. Plus the reliability gets better and better everyday. New DEF Sensor was created a couple years ago and that has resolved the few issues we did have.

@@VahrenbergImplement Yeah, I am pretty comfortable with DEF now myself. At least on MF. Should I ever trade in the 4707, I would just get the 4710 with DEF. Do WE need 100hp? No. But…more better, right!!! 😂 -Marky

We mainly sell 4710 once you upgrade to 4708 or 4709 not many more dollars to get the 4710 then you can utilize the Economy PTO even more.

I have a 2022 model year 4707 platform tractor with the 3615 bucket. Does Massey make a backhoe for this model. Just need a backhoe for general farm work. Thanks

You can use a 3 Point Mounted Backhoe with the 4700 Series. There are several aftermarket brands that make Backhoes that will work with the 4700 series.

you can add the electronic 3 point liftings switch on the old edt tractor, not just the new tcd model

Electronic 3 Point Hitch has been standard equipment on North American models since they introduced. Does not matter the EDT or TCD Software since they are Standard Equipment on Both Fenders. We highlighted some of the standard features of the 4700 even thou that are not new features. We got requests to cover some of the top features too and has been included since 2016 when the 4700 was introduced.

i was talking about the rocker switch inside the cab that can be added as a option but standard on 5700 and 6700 model

You are Correct. Both the EDT & TCD Tractors can add the Deluxe 3 Point Hitch Switch & Added Potentiometers but must be dealer installed as both systems require dealer diagnostic tool to enable the feature on the tractor. So both Prior and Later Models of 4700 Series can have this feature added.

I've got a 2021 931X on a 4710 Dyna 2 and it is equipped with a manual soft ride, which is a block valve on and bladder on the loader itself. Did they do away with that option? It is a different system than the one on my 5711 with the FL.3522 though

The add-on optional SoftDrive System for 931X is the same as you are describing. The FL. Loaders come standard with SoftDrive and have it integrated into the loader.

No, just had it added to my 4707 two weeks ago. $1800 option the dealer thru in since he couldn’t get me one with an FL loader. It is installed on the left side of the loader arm instead of inside the cross tube.

What type of block heater do you recommend for the 4700 series? I purchased a kit with tractor serial # and part # (ACW070982A) was what the dealer ordered. The kit came with drive in frost plug heater, 2 cords with a total length of roughly 14 ft and a bracket with fasteners. Concerned all that extra cord tucked away would be asking for trouble in the future. Are the drive in frost plug heaters better quality/ more rugged than the O-ring/ wing style? Do they offer a drive in type with a shorter cord? Thanks for all the well explained informative videos!

That sounds like the 4700 Series Heater. The heater for the 4600 Series Tractor can also be used with shorter cord and replaceable cord. It goes in freeze plug but has Wing Style. It costs less too. Part Number is V836640935

Brake to Neutral Upgrade is only Available on 4700 Series with TCD Diagnostics. 5700 & 6700 Global Series Models are on EDT Diagnostics and Brake to Neutral Function is not available.

There is differences between the different global series. Maybe in the future more can be added. It would be nice feature on the 5700/6700 Series. And maybe upgraded to TCD Architecture Software so the Brake to Neutral Feature be available as a feature.

All the gadgets are great until their not ,like auto world company's tring to out gadget one another at expense of durability and common sense engineering one nawing rat can damn near make someone stick a match to a new vehicle tractors are in a lot worse environment instead of owners Manuel get a service Manuel it will have codes and maybe wiring diagrams with all the electronics and sensors YOU WILL NEED IT Don't care what brand you buy

That's one good thing on the Global Series they have less Electronic Components that the High Spec Models. Rodents can cause damage and why we recommend Rodent Repellent like Mouse Out or Grandpa Gus helps keep the critters away.
