Been a gas engineer for 8yrs but only on installing. I'm trying to get into breakdowns now, so, finding your videos really helpful. Keep'em coming, they're good

That's great to hear! What have you been installing the last couple of years, just boilers? I know a few engineers who only install boilers day in, day out.
@Danderofox3 жыл бұрын
Mainly Worcester's, nothing else really. I was doing the same before moved out of London, boilers day in day out. I was working with sub contractors to the council. I do a lot of HMO work, especially these last couple of years.

Thank you so much for uploading the video, that's really helpful and I appreciate your assistance with this. If you get a chance at some point could you please upload a video showing the whole fitting being removed and replaced, as the canoe filter is seized into the fitting. Can you please upload a video of the plate heat exchanger removal and replacement. Thanks again, really appreciate all your time and support 👍😊

Fair play if you can get the filters out that easy as most times its the block out to change the filter

What would be the reason to remove the canoe filter. I heard you say something about overheating. I've never heard of this filter before so I'm glad you did a video on it
@advancedboilertraining3 жыл бұрын
Over time CH systems can get gunky. Just like a plate heat exchanger the canoe filter can get filled with crap and then cause circulation issues which then makes the boiler overheat👍

hot water going cool after a few minutes, checked codes.... S.53...vaillant ecotec plus. Any ideas? Ive put cleaner through the heating circuit, no difference.

Would the canoe filter cause hot water issues in terms of crap flow rate or is it just in the heating side?
@advancedboilertraining Жыл бұрын
Good question, just the heating side. The canoe filter wouldn’t affect hot water flow rate

very good vids, the only problem in the sound, get a microphone?
@gyorgytorok77772 жыл бұрын
Hi! What can cause a sound, as if there is air in the system or as if the water is boiling, but no air comes out of the air vent (it does it even after the air vent program). If I use hot water and shut it off, the pump still circulates and starts making noise. I don't have such a problem with heating, it's also quiet with post-circulation. It was recently washed and the system has been doing it ever since. The system pressure is 1.2 bar, that of the tank is 1 bar and is stable. Heat exchangers replaced, diverter new. So far no one has been able to solve the problem, but I'm just wasting my money this way. Thanks if you can help. (vaillant turbotec pro... )
