You said CS2 will easily achieve 480hz but the most powerful CPU that hasn't even released yet only achieves 1% lows of 360fps at 1080p. So it's not a chance in hell that you will maintain 480fps in CS2 at 1440p. Having a frame rate fluctuating below your monitors refresh rate can feel jarring in games like CS.

I have a OLED 240Hz. Other monitors have 360Hz, 480Hz, 540Hz. Is it worthy for higher refresh rate that the difference is noticeable?
@CashChris_17
@CashChris_17 Ай бұрын
@@MarwinO3 honestly 480hz oled is really worth the upgrade. 540hz TN panels are not worth it at since the colors aren’t that good compare to IPS and OLED, and 360 isn’t really a noticeable upgrade from 240hz. Plus, the difference between 480hz and 540hz isn’t noticeable at all, and with the 480hz OLED, you at least get beautiful colors and a very VERY clear image. Also, the difference between 480hz and 240hz is night in day, picture it as if you are looking through a window, it is basically that. Now obviously, you would ONLY wanna upgrade if you are really that competitive and have the money to spare. But with your 240hz OLED, that is pretty much more than enough.

@@Raynoxfps Agree with the colors... I've gotten used to the newer TN panel colors by now as they're not as horrendous as the older TN panels. However, even with the low response time, the UFO tests look way clearer on the 540 Hz TN panels with DyAC2/ULMB2 compared to the 1440p (or 1080p) 480 Hz OLEDs One downside being it can only be activated at 360hz or above so any game that doesn't touch that much FPS can't use Backlight Strobing. I think this is where the OLED will shine
@Vainsz
@Vainsz 2 ай бұрын
I've used 540hz for a year with ULMB2, and I much prefer the 480hz oled because of the superior OLED and 1440p res. UFO tests are good, but as the target market for this monitor myself, I prefer to test the performance in game, especially in competitive high rank where it really matters. Get hyped. the days about worrying about burn in are no longer, unless you have a image on the screen forr days it doesnt burn in, i have a oled that ive been using for 5 months and have no burn in, also they provide a 2 year or so burn in warranty
